Well.. I personally would choose Assassin if you're going 25k+ But if you want <25k I would go with Warrior or upgrade Civilian until you get the iron sword on it!
Miner is an ok option Get armour faster for rushing / farming but more importantly to mine gold for invisibility, gpicks and grapples If you like rushing try Assassin ( most people's first kits) . Get around 20 gold and start dealing some nexus damage. In late game, your effectiveness will start deteriorating so you better deal as much damage as possible early. Enchanter is a third option. The most important kit for farming other than vamp. Get p4 gear by phase 2-3 and you can solo a 6 player team. (Or more)
Obvious first choice would be Civilian Level 4 Not true if you get it upgraded. 13 second Leap cooldown plus X2 damage from behind is actually not that bad. Aside from Assassin, try Chef. It's cheaper and decent enough for PvP. It will allow you to farm bosses more easily.

I'll 100% upgrade civ. When my clan and I first started grinding 2.0, we all upgraded Civ and on mini anni, we got over 60 kills each game by just going and critting people out with an iron sword. After that, I'd recommend assassin
