face book and yt arent gonna be like that. pretty sure they will remain open to all. like leroy said they might have slow service depending on if they work with your service provider

Actually, it has to go through congress, they must pass the repeal in order for it to take affect.

Fun fact: Australia doesn't have net neutrality and there is no ISP charging for use of specific websites.

    >implying that people will have to pay for everything now
    >implying that it has already been ruled out

It's stupid to think that all ISPs will charge you for everything now. Nothing will change in the near future; the first ISPs that get a bad name for themselves at the start will face a downfall and will eventually die out.

83% of the people think net neutrality should stay yet it's still probably going to be removed, woohoo for democracy I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

pretty much what this guy said^

    *Sigh*...
I saw a million videos and articles about Net Neutrality... I know it's consequences.
    >Everything you do will be monitored, so Bye-Bye freedom of speech ( I don't know what's the reason for monitoring your doings but it seems to be a big deal )
    >You WILL have to pay extra if you are dealing with a net provider that isn't good ol buddies with the most famous and known websites such as YouTube and FaceBook and such, you may choose not to pay, but then you'll be getting back to days where the loading screen for YouTube takes ages to load a video, Eh I don't know.
    >We know the idea is stupid and will cause the ISP to die, even a person that supported Ajit Pai in his stupidity said the idea is to fail after someone explained it to him...
    > And yea, democracy all the way, the whole internet got messed up by one indian dude...

Just to those who say "Oh we dont live in the US, we dont care, it wont affect us" blah blah
well, Imo the methode of destroying Net Neutrality will spread to the whole world, bec the ISPs will realise "oh, now we will make double the money! LETS DO IT!"
and that will have everyone mad, but the bright side is, that we will have to wait a few years for that to happen, + the Congress didn't accept the lose of Net Neutrality *yet*.
But if they do, we'll have to wait for a few years maybe for the new system to happen. You can't change the security and permission of an ISP in 1 day, right? Lets hope for the best anyways.

How exactly is freedom of speech related to this? And it doesn't necessarily mean that they will make you pay for everything. Everyone is acting like they'll have to pay for everything now and making it a bigger deal than it actually is. The majority of the ISPs won't change anything or they'll barely change it so no one notices it. No ISP is dumb enough to **** themselves over like this.

Not to be a bum who were happy about it. (I WAS NOT) Congress have Denied the FCC the rights to pass the act and so we have won the battle of net neutrality. Congrats Guys! Also the FCC Chair is having legal action taken against himself by the harlem shake creator for the Chair using Harlem shake in a video titled "7 things you can still do after net neutrality".
