For those who are struggling in farming in annihilation, this thread is just for you! I'm gonna go over the basics of farming, how to farm, and farming tricks. Enjoy!

Farming: Farming is when you go out with really OP armor and a really OP sword and potions and kill a lot of people over and over again. This can be very handy when trying to get a good amount of xp. There is a lot to farming and it takes along time so be careful and try to get as much kills as you can.

    Iron Armor Farming
Iron farming is gonna be a lot tougher than farming with diamond for 2 reasons:
    1) Even with iron armor protection 4 its pretty weak compared to diamond. [FUN FACT: Iron armor protection 4 is equivalent to Diamond armor protection 2!] The only way to farm with iron armor and not die in about 20 seconds is with Notch apples. Now this is the hard part because apples are extremely rare in annihilation and it an extremely long time just to get enough gold to get 1 notch apple. (1 stack of 64 and 7 gold) But you'll be relieved about how helpful it'll be for you. Even people with leather armor and a sword can rekt you pretty quickly.

What your hot-bar and inventory should be like:

    Hot bar

Slot 1: Sword -A really op one too...it should be sharpness 4 all the time! The swords have to be at least iron to get some good kills in. You can always use diamonds as well. NOTICE: Iron swords break quickly so be wise.
Slot 2: Pickaxe -To break the nexus of course-

Slot 3: Axe -You'll always need a little something when you got a wall of wood in your way-

Slot 4: Compass -So you know where a nexus team's nexus is-

    Slot 5: Gapple(s) -2 would be nice-

Slot 6: Potion (Regeneration, Speed, Strength 1 8 minutes, Or healing potions

Slot 7: Potion (Regeneration, Speed, Strength 1 8 minutes, Or healing potion

Slot 8: Potion (Regeneration, Speed, Strength 1 8 minutes, Or healing potion

    Slot 9: Food -Why not?-

Your armor should be ALWAYS protection 4.

    Inventory

Your inventory should be empty but if you have extra potions you can always put them there.

    Diamond Armor Farming
Farming with diamond armor is a lot more helpful for 3 reasons:

    1) Diamond armor is a lot stronger so you'll die slower

    2) Diamond armor has a lot more durability so you don't have to worry about it breaking any time soon.

    3) You don't have to waste time getting gapples (Notch apples) But of course you always could if you want.

Diamonds only spawn at mid at phase 3 which is gonna be hard because mid always has enemy's that can
attack at anytime. Be careful there! Since diamond is so strong even Diamond armor protection 3 is good enough! Of course you will always need potions but don't over do yourself and waste time because your gonna be a lot stronger.

    Hot-Bar

Your armor should be protection 4 or 3 diamond armor.

    Tricks and Tips!

    1) Be in mind that swappers can i do something called *Void Swap Trap* Its basically wooden blocs and a block above your head that you swap the farmer in and easily punch them of the edge. SO STAY INSIDE THE BASE!! Don't leave it or you'll be vulnerable.

    2) Break the nexus until its all the way to 1 or 2 hp points. Now when your about to die you can easily the just break the nexus and win. You'll die in the process but you'll win!

    3) If you have the vampire it. USE IT! It is extremely helpful and makes it even harder to die. You can also use scout and acrobat if you wanna get to the base quicker or if you are void swapped you can get out of it.

    4) Don't waste your stuff! I'v seen people who use a gapple and they have full health. Only use healing potions , gapples, etc. if you need too.

    5) Use a good map. Maps that i recommend is Coastal, Coastalv3, Canyon, Canyonv2, and EssixDam. They all give a good amount of xp when you mine ores and and they all have choking points where you can hit the players without getting hit back. Canyon is a extremely good map for this

    6) Ask someone for help. You cant expect to everything your self. Ask a friend to get apples, ask a friend to farm with you, ask a friend to get you gold etc.

    7) Be wise with a golden apple use. Gapples are extremely helpful so use them with care. It would be better to get 2 because 1) you can clean out all the OP guys and just make it a leather-armor-mosh-pit. And 2) Just for safety just in-case you really do drop fast.

    8) Go to a un-rushed team. There's always that guy who ends the team when your about to farm it. Go to a unexpected team that no one is rushing too.

    9) Critical hits. Critical hits are very, very very important when it comes to farming. Since guild-craft made a new change in which Strength 2 potions are actually like strength 1 potions. Which means with Strength and a very op sword the best you can do is about a 2 hit kill per leather armor guy. But using criticals (look at my ULTIMATE PVP GUIDE) you can 1 hit people which is very helpful

    10) Focus Fire. If your in the nexus room, people piling up, everyone attacking you, its NOT good to hit at everyone and make your mouse go crazy. Focus one person at a time. If you hit somone they are probably gonna go down by like 7 hearts and say "Oh my god! This guy is tough. He almost killed me! I better run away!" And you'll never get a kill. Long story short: Focus one person at a time.

    1) You forgot the pick on the hotbar to break the nex and the axe for swap traps as @pebro13 said.
    2) Your gapple rush instructions are not helpful, update them, you need 2 gapples for a success farm and the 1st gapple you need to eat it to kill op defenders so you eat it at full health not when you are about to die because the apple needs 3 seconds to be eaten.
    3) A sharp 2 iron+strenth1 is quite the same with the sharp 4 iron+strenth1 when its about to farm because full leather players are 2 hits with both swords.
    4) When farming with gapples get yourself cornerned, leather people will think you ease and instead you will 1 shot'em with crits if you have a sharp4 iron+strenth1 AND they will come back faster to keep you cornered and grand you more xp ^-^.

    Overall, very good tutorial!

Honestly, I would not recommend farming on Canyon. Not enough gold and you basically can't get gapples.
But other than that, pretty helpful!

Armor not necessarily prot4, I farmed with prot2 dia armor, and got more kills than I ever did with prot4 iron armors with even 4 gapples, you forgot the most important part about rushing, you have to be in a good kit to rush, there are many good kits, vampire being best for farming, in my opinion. Try to rush fast and not in very end, like I think best farming time is start of p5, people are not expecting farmers then, by late p5 thier farmers have enough recources to defend you and you might not last that long.

Nice tips, Now i have more knowledge :D. BTW if you are vampire with diamond protection IV, you will still be needing at least one notch apple to take out the op guys. After that only leather ones will be left which can be easily dealt with.
