Hey there, So only recently, I built the Iron Phoenix on GC's Survival server. The thing is that I'm a very good redstoner (not bragging) so I managed to avoid the redstone restrictions and changed the way the timers worked. So I know for a fact, that everything is built correctly. When I finished I got like 3 golems in a matter of seconds but after that, the farm stopped working. I doubt the 64 villages stayed apart and didn't merge. The good thing is that I can reset it with a hit of a button, but can anyone explain to me if Bukkit changes anything that affects the way the farm works? I've heard and read all about the problems with Spigot, so since I found nothing about Bukkit being problematic with it, I built the farm and spent over a million on it. Tagging @aXed aXed, can this be a problem with the way Bukkit loads and unloads the chunks? If so, can you adjust it? Thanks, MrJoyTime The photos of the farm: P.S I'm keeping the location of the farm PRIVATE for safety reasons, so to any admins or players out there, please keep that in mind. UPDATE* Still not working.
These kind of huge Redstone contraptions don’t work with bukkit/spigot servers. You’d have to change the server’s configuration to allow such Redstoning
The thing is, I tried it on a local bukkit build (1.12.2) and it worked just fine. So I think it's some plugin preventing it from working correctly.
Indeed. After all the lag spikes the survival server has undergone, a lot of configuration had been changed by aXed in order to fix this. This might be the reason @MrJoyTime
I noticed in the video that he put a lot of villagers in one spot. There are plugins on guildcraft that will limit the villagers per chunk. Some of your villagers are probably removed. There are valid reasons why the iron farms we use here have been chosen over other designs. Many others have been tried, and the ones we use work the best. Building something different will usually end in disappointment.
