»Survival and Semivanilla / 1.9 update and custom biomes

Quick question...as far as I understand, survival and semi will get updated to 1.9...but will the custom biomes be added to both server as well? Some of you may know that mcmmo doesnt work well with mcmmo...especially if it is added to survival, for ex.: there is no /warp mine anymore, so mcmmo would literally be pointless for mining
