»[SUGGESTION] Ban Cross-teaming

Hello all! It's me, crafter. I'm the one who suggested those sweet new abilities 2.0 has. Now like most of you, I love Anni 2.0. I play it as much as I can, being a busy adult. However, there is one problem that is rising in 2.0: cross-teaming.

What is cross-teaming?

Cross-teaming can be defined as teaming up with another player that is on another team, in other words alliances. This can spam from one game, or to multiple ones. I'm guilty of doing this sometimes too, but it's getting too far.

How is it ruining Annihilation?

It's ruining Annihilation by having lower-tier players and lower-skilled players suffering from losing/being killed over from cross-teaming.

Example: Today I was in a game. Everything was going fine, up until an enchanted iron shows up outside our base. I say "enchanted iron outside nexus." In response, another player on my team says "kill him then," however I was in leather. I say "I can't" so he says "try." I never tried, because I soon realize the enchanted iron was a medic, and he placed that purposefully there because he was teamed with the other player on my team, and neither would attack each other. However, the enchanted iron would farm the leathers constantly, and it was getting pretty annoying by the end of the game.

What should we do about it?

Ban Cross-teaming. If you're cross teaming throughout the entire game, it should be a warning. If it's multiple games, then a short ban.

There are excuses for cross-teaming, however, like killing a boss. That should not be bannable. However, it is not okay to let newer members to fall victim of teaming. This needs to be stopped.

 

The last time i told people that I'd make teaming banneable, they told me they would quit if i do so .-.

Nope. Nope. If you are getting your butt farmed and certain players of your own team are truced, that's your problem. Deal with it. If you are too weak to kill the enemy, try to get across that dude and attack someone else, get stronger and take care of the dude yourself / OR organize your leather army and fend the enemy off.

This is why having friends is a good idea, nothing is really fair. Also even if the admins decide to ban cross teaming, it would be pretty hard to spot players practicing this. Players could just see each other and choose different paths trying to look aggressive but in reality they are truced.

An example- ( Say, you're blue) youre rushing to an enemys Nexus (say, red). Near the Nexus, you come across a player from the Green team. You have two options, either truce up and do more damage to the red team or kill eachother, which would weaken the damage you could do.
Also, if you decide to truce; you might get a new friend, who knows?

 

I believe you should do the right thing no matter what people think about it.
You nerfed a lot of kids, i can understand that.
But Annihilation is team-based game. everything is team work. so what is the point of having a team if they let u killed and don't protect you?!

In the situation if you are 2 people from 2 different teams want to mine another team's nexus. then it's reasonable to truce (temporary) but not like 24/7/365

if you think cross teaming in Minecraft and killing IRL is the same then I feel sorry for you

 

sepehr_davoodi, the developers and staffs who are trying to do good for the anni server, atleast have some heart for them. when a day comes where anni is not able to start due to less people, it really hurts the developers and the staffs who worked hard for it.

both things are fun. so kinda same.
people now days don't think about other people. They just think about their own enjoyment.

 

Change the poll choices because it is biased, the choice where you would want to vote against your idea is put as 'lol no im a scrub'. This suggests that only people who vote for your idea are good and people going against your ideas are bad, which is is a really self-centered and biased suggestion.
