You are able to silk touch spawners that you have placed. Natural spawners and spawners placed by other players cannot be mined by you. I don't think there's a need to change anything about spawners in survival now though. They're doing just fine

 

Xrayers :/ I see holes dug straight to spawner rooms sometimes, imagine people in starter kits holding 2 or 3 spawners :/ they've just started with 300k

 

you know you can no life farming emeralds from farmer villagers for a day and have a decent amont of cash to buy spawners with

Yeah we should be able to silk mine spawners at survival we find it would be cool , i agree

 

you know there is /warp mobfarm and realy dont get the poing of diging spawners
