»Some question in Sky Block

Hello,
i need some information for skyblock:
what is the way to have the sand as well except buy in voteshop ? a cactus farm and do the mission of the cactus with a piece at a time ?
I found by exploring the island , a mega block of 18 sands. There is only one in each island ?
I saw that some players can vote up to 10 times instead of 6 and to take all diamonds, while I take only exp or $ . It ' a cheat ?
Many players prefer to spend a lot to buy a spawner of cows . Why if you just get 2 eggs as all and have endless cows in a short time ?

 

@ilmentore1973 there is a small island of sand and 3 cactus in everyone's island. We just have to build towards there. That island of sand only have one in every island. The people who vote 10 times is when they vote and they didn't come online for a while. After that they vote again without coming online. When they come online they will get the reward. U only get the diamond when your lucky. And that's not a cheat. Players spend alot of money for spawners because maybe they are lazy to breed the animal or they want a automatic farm.
