    Hi all,

    Welcome to the "Help related questions" section of the forum. This is the platform for players to have their queries answered and doubts clarified. However, before making a thread with your question(s), do look through the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) below. Your questions could have already been answered.

    *Note: To make the search easier, press ctrl + f and type in the keyword in your questions. Questions below are highlighted in blue. Answers below are highlighted in orange. Points to note are in Red.

    Staff Application Issues:

    1) How do I apply for staff?
    Staff applications are made here:

    2) I cannot see any staff applications!
    To apply for staff, a minimum of 30 posts on the forum is required. Player also has to be active on the forum for at least a week. Once these two criteria are met, you will be able to see the staff application.

    *Note: Creating Threads & Commenting both count towards the number of posts one has. However, do not farm posts (make useless posts) to hit the requirement of 30 posts for application.

    3) There has been no reply to my staff application!
    Staff applications can take up to 10 days to be approved or denied. In the case where no replies are received after 10 days, the applicant may contact his/her local head-admin to check for the status of the application. Note that head-admins may keep applications open for over 10 days so as to further monitor the applicants. Be patient.

    Log in/Registration Issues:

    1) How do I register in the server?
    When you first enter the server, you will be prompted to register your account. To register, simply type /register <chosen password> <chosen password>. Subsequently, do /login <password> to log into the server and play.

    2) I am new on the server but my account is already registered!
    If this is your first time in the server and you encounter this issue, it is likely that another player has registered with your username. Change your username and try registering again.

    3) I forgot/lost my password!
    Make a support ticket here and provide as much evidence as possible that the account belongs to you:

    4) How can I change my password?
    At the lobby, type /changepassword <old password> <new password>

    5) I upgraded my account to premium and/or changed my username, how can I transfer my stuffs over?
    Name change is currently unsupported by the server. To retain your stuffs, please log in using your old username.

    6) I tried registering but it says I have exceeded the maximum number of registrations!
    Unregister your other accounts. Do so by typing /unregister <password>. Alternatively, you may register at your relative's/friend's house through a different IP Address.

    7) I can't connect to the server!
    Restart your computer and router then try again. If this doesn't work, check the forum for possible updates being done on the server.

    8) I am told to log in with a change in caps of my username! (E.g. Told to log in with alex when username should be Alex)
    This problem mainly arises when a player logs once into his/her account without using the correct caps in his/her username. Subsequently, log-in problems will arise, causing players to either be unable to log-in or to lose their stuffs. In this case, only @aXed will be able to help so approach him directly through support tickets or TeamSpeak 3.

    Ban Issues


    1) I have been auto-banned/wrongfully punished but I didn't hack/break any rules.
    Make an unban request in this section:

    Make sure to adhere to the following format:

    Your IGN (In-Game-Name):
    By who you're banned:
    Reason for your ban:
    On what server were you banned:
    Why you think it's wrong or right:


    2) I have been permanently banned. How can I buy an unban?
    There are 3 tiers to buying an unban. Approach whoever banned you for guidance and information on which tier of unban you need to buy.

    3) I got muted without any warning!
    Warning is only applicable for new players. Older players are expected to know the rules by heart.

    Purchase Issues

    1) I made a purchase but has yet to receive my items?
    Your purchase may take up to 24 hours to process. Should you not receive your perks after 24 hours, feel free to make a support ticket here:

    In-Game Issues

    1) Which mod can I use?

    2) I lost my in-game money/items!
    If you suspect that a bug/glitch had cause you to lose your items, report it in this section with as much information as you can provide:

    3) How much euros are in-game items worth?
    This differs from server to server. Visit the trade section and get referencing from successful trades posted by other players:

    4) I have been scammed by another player!
    Firstly, check if scamming is allowed on the server you are playing on. If scamming isn't allowed, make a report here:

    5) A player is griefing/hacking/breaking rules!

    6) Is account sharing allowed?
    No. Strictly one account to one player. If your family/friends wish to play on the server, they will have to create their own account.

    7) Can I change my skin?
    For premium players, you can make skin changes here:

    After which, do /skin update while in the server lobby.

    *Note: Skin change has a cooldown of 3 days.

    8) I am premium but my skin is randomized!

    The skin change may take a few days before it is reflected. Till then, be patient.

    9) How can I become a donator?
    To obtain the donator rank, one will have to donate to the server. The store can be found here:

    Alternatively, you can also trade in-game items with another player who is willing to upgrade you with their real-life money. In that case, head over to the trade section here:

    Forum/TeamSpeak Issues


    1) How do I change my forum username/birth date?
    Forum name changes are not allowed. (Birth date changes to be confirmed)

    2) How do I change my signature?
    Mouse over your username found at the top right corner of the forum. A panel appears, with the option to click on "signature". It should then bring you to this page:

    3) How do I insert images into my threads/posts?

    4) How do I join GuildCraft Server in Team Speak?

    5) How do I disable mailings from the web site?
    Mouse over your username found at the top right corner of the forum. A panel appears, with the option to click on "privacy". Click on it and in the next screen, un-check the check-box with "Receive site mailings" written beside it. For reference, a similar question was posed and answered in this thread:

    About the 30 post to be able to apply for being a staff ..Is it ok if it just a comment on the other post or not???

    The 30 post requirement includes both the creation of threads as well as commenting on other threads. So long you aren't post farming (Posting really useful stuffs), it will be fine :) I'll update the FAQ to include this information. Thank You :)

    I think that questions about the forum should be added too.
    Also login / in-game issues:
    • Can't connect to the server (restart your computer and router / check the forum)
    • I'm premium but I have random skin (it takes a few days, please wait)
    • I'm cracked and I don't have random skin (http://guildcraft.org/threads/4381)
    Teamspeak:
    • How to connect teamspeak server of GC (download from here and join ts.guildcraft.org)
    Ban/mute issues:
    • I got muted without warning (warning is for only new players)
