»PvP Events/Tournaments/Monthly Ladder

PotPvp is fun, but for the most part there is something lacking.
I had a couple of ideas to spice things up with would be the introduction of pvp events/tournaments, and a ladder that resets monthly (maybe even with monthly prizes?).

Tournaments would be simple. A couple of players/(maybe teams) sign up and they are put against each other in an elimination type tournament.

In the Monthly ladder whoever has most elo at the end of the month would win.

What are your thoughts, and what would you like to see in terms of PvP the server, especially in PotPvP?

 

I suggested this awesome idea but nobody cares :'(
