Tired of accidentally dropping things you need and not being able to get it back?

Well, this is my suggestion: Make it possible to drop the item to it and modify the lifespan so that it will be shorter for it on the ground.

So I suck at explaining but here we go. Basically, everyone knows when in PracticePvP, if you drop 1 item from your inventory, it will simply disappear instead of dropping to the ground.

This can be frustating, since you can accidentally drop the fire resistance or drop one health potion you need to win that intense fight against someone good, which will make you mad, which will cause you to leave the server, which is not good for the server if it wants to have as many players as it can get.

So, if you can drop the item to the ground in PracticePvP fights, you can pick it back up if you dropped by accident. But then, other players can take your stuff. That's when the modified lifespan comes in. The dropped item will only 'live' for 5 seconds on the ground, after which it will despawn, this (ofc) is to prevent other players from having any chance to steal your item (very useful imo)

Yes, I know this copies from other servers and I know Guildcraft strives to be unique. But please consider this, maybe adding this (assuming that the coding is not too hard) if many people agree to this.

    Ty you for reading
    Peace,

It something to consider but isn't necessarily needed.
The way that items are dropped could be altered a little so that you cannot drop full potions or anything and have empty pots be the only ones you can remove, if that would help in the process.
    Thank you for the feedback/suggestion.
