PotionPVP Suggestion This is a suggestion based on my personal experience of potionpvp. I have been playing for a while now, and recently I have seen players using fishing rods now. 1: Why do I want this feature removed? The people who do not have rods are at a major disadvantage to the people that do. 2: Why do I not use a rod? Not using a rod can give myself good practice for the situations where i do not have a rod. Also, I follow the philosophy where if someone is using an unfair advantage against me, that doesnt mean that i should also be a dunce. Hard to explain :/ 3:What will this effect in GuildCraft? People will stop trying to focus on rodding and more on pvp. Which will create a more skilled and challenging community (until the bugs get fixed wink wink) I think if GC gets more Youtubers after this then we will spread to the kohi community (seeing how potpvp will be more competitive after i believe it will attract more players + youtubers. 4: Also... I see people starting to confuse survival games/uhc with potionpvp. (the noobs) I honestly dont think this is a good thing. 5: If that doesnt work out... Then i say that you create another ladder in potionpvp which includes a fishing rod (this can inspire ideas for other ladders) Of course if you use this idea then the name "PotionPvP" won't be as accurate. Hopefully I made this suggestion as detailed as possible so... please consider my suggestion i guess :^D EDIT: And please dont be toxic if you disagree with me; be reasonable :/ Also, please dont create a useless argument in this thread, or else this thread will be locked
In a rodder's life it comes to a point where their rod mastery is over 9000 goku power. jk it gets really difficult when they start rodding you and hitting u back .-. and honestly im sick and tired of just ignoring it :/
Honestly In my opinion Rod's shouldn't be removed, just that you cant use a rod doesant mean that they're gonna remove it. Ik its pretty annoying to face rodders but its just the part of the game and deal with it ;p
:/ thats how you use them. if you were to take a look at some original pot pvp servers you would see that hey dont have rods. I dont blame you though since you are new to the game, you see the guildcraft version of potionpvp. oh yeah and you are excused good sir
i wasnt talking about the fact that i dont use them :/ I was talking about the fact that guildcraft isnt even potionpvp anymore. and I really love guildcraft as much as some of the OGs do too and i hate to see GC getting screwed up and also, why deal with a problem when you can possibly fix it? I decide, not ignore ;p wait... i think its like this ;P hmmmmm... yeah
oh yeah changes are being made to potpvp,New maps are already done but aXed hasn't added em yet, that's why I don't even log on potpvp not gonna be bothered pvping in those ugly **** ass maps.
why did u just change the subject? and also (totally off topic) nice avatar and welp you have to "deal with" the maps :3
you keep saying that removing the rod will give room for improvement and more skilled players or somthing, i dont think you realize that knowing how to use the rod in pvp is a very hard skill to learn (kinda) and it in my opinion takes more skill than strafing ect. i dont agree that the rod should be removed. the players you fight that use rods do not have an "unfair" advantage, you can change it in the kit anytime, but they do not have an unfair advantage just because they took time out of their life to learn how to rod. as you can do the same anytime ._.
also rods have been in guildcraft for a while im sure, and if you dont like that guildcraft is not "potionpvp" anymore, then why are you not complaining about archer, and gapple... (no disrespect if i sound like im being rude )
if you dissagree with that idea, what about making a ladder with a fishing rod im full o ideas here :/
and derpy, if anyone happens to look up testicular nutblast in the search bar, they will find this beautiful thread
