As I'm sure many of the higher rated people (1700+) of the serer know, getting any higher than your current rating is quite tedious. Like for real, i lag out againt or face a hacking 900 rated and lose -30. But even if I do win, it's a 500 second long match that gives me +1 elo, like are you havin' a giggle or w0t. Pretty much every match I enter goes something like that. To solve this problem, a few things should happen.

Another problem is that it's kinda risky for people with a solid global elo to join any other ladder except their strong suit, because they're alot more likely to lose and, if they do it's not just the ladder elo that drops critically.
Say you face someone who has 1100 global elo and 1600 ladder elo (archer). If you lose to this guy when you're 1950 global elo and 1200 ladder elo, you're gonna lose a crap ton of global...

    1) You shouldn't be able to queue against someone who's so much lower under you, I hit 1900 elo and then fight a 800 elo like wtf. That's a lose - lose whether I come out victorious or not.

    2) Maybe increase the amount of matches you can play a day so getting higher in the leaders doesn't become so tedious...

    3) You should lose as much global elo as you lose ladder elo, and gain as much global elo as you gain ladder.

    4) Make there be a minimum amount of elo you can gain if you win and a maximum amount you can lose, (Minimum you can queue is someone who'll give you +5 elo, and maximum he / she'll take is -26 elo).

    5) Re-Vamp your Anti - Cheat (Not that simple I know, but atleast try :c)

I agree with only the first one. The rest is undo-able/unrealistic.
