»Paintings vanish after the entity clear

Today, I've discovered a nasty bug that only came along after the switch to 1.13...
We can't use paintings. They're all being cleared by the entity clear. For some reason, the cleaning system counts them as dropped items.

Honestly, I'm surprised no one reported this for almost 2 months after the last reset. Really?

This bug is shocking and serious, gentlemen. It needs to be fixed as quickly as possible. It simply restricts building abilities for players. The loss of paintings would be a terrible loss! We gotta do something RIGHT NOW!!!

For the entire last week, I've been building an amazing fortress in creative and planned to copy it on the server. It's large, awesome and full of empty walls filled with paintings... You can see a screenshot:


...but when I started copying, my paintings were vanishing!

MY ENTIRE PROJECT IS BLOWN UP! ...What am I gonna do now? No paintings? No way! Nooooooooooo!
