The 'Rules of GuildCraft' are in place to help us all enjoy an engaging, safe and above all enjoyable GuildCraft environment.

If you witness another player presenting a serious risk to other players or the integrity of our server, the 'Report a player' forum is in place to allow players to escalate these problems directly to us.

Server Rules​

No cheats, hacks, or exploits of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Having installed or using modified clients to give an advantage in any way (we allow mini-maps provided they do not show player positions and mods such as optifine are ok)
• Circumventing plugins such as the afk kicker (AFK machines/pools)
• Applications such as Minechat, you may get autobanned by using this.
• Using macros/scripts to perform tasks such as farming and mob grinding (keybinding commands is perfectly fine though)
• Accessing areas not accessible without some form of glitch or exploit

Approved Client Mods

• Optifine
• 5Zig PVP mod
• Laby Mod
• Too Many Items
• Shaders Mods
• Capes Mods
• Better Animations/Player Animations Mod
• Blocks3D Mod
• Not Enough Items
• Gamma/Brightness mods (in which the only feature is gamma/brightness)
• Any mods which have no effect to gameplay such as Pixelmon or Auto-Respawn.
• Better Sprint Mod
• InGame info mod
• bspkr's Armor, Direction and Status effect HUDs
• UHC Essentials
• Health Indicators
• Joystick mod (or other controller/gamepad mods)
  All mods not on this list are considered unapproved until further notice and may result in a temp/perm banning.
  
  If there is a something you'd like to see on this list please make a thread so we can review.

You must respect the staff at all times
Our staff is here to help and follow our detailed guidelines to make their decisions. Do not argue with the judgement made by one of our staff members. The only place where you can give us feedback is on the forum, make sure you have proof to back it up.

Do not ask the staff for items or ranks
Asking our staff for items, ranks or OP is forbidden and will be punished with a mute or ban depending on the case.

Do not Advertise in any form this includes but is not limited to

• Advertising other server IP's
• Advertising non GC Youtube or Twitch content
• Advertising links

Note: Advertising Youtube/Twitch links whilst in an active Live stream based around Guildcraft is fine to an extent. You are not allowed to promote yourself/channel as you will be muted for such.
Following format is acceptable: "Hey guys I'm streaming a video for GC: <link>".
Do be sure not to abuse this exception.

Do not use excessive language, use of unwanted player directed sexual remarks/racism and any form of spam
We want a friendly environment where everyone can feel comfortable, so we ask that you treat others with respect in all situations. That also includes spamming of commands like /adv, /afk and other commands that can cause harm.

Do not encourage others to break rules
Asking others to abuse some bug or download a hack client is strictly forbidden.

Exploiting bugs on our server is not allowed. If an exploit is found, report it immediately
In the event of a very serious exploit, the resulting punishment regardless of the quantity of offences will be a permanent ban - examples of this include but are not limited to duplication of items. Reporting these bugs, however, will be reward with coupons for our store.

No account sharing
This includes giving your account to someone or sharing your account. You are responsible for your own account. If your friend, family, etc. logs in and is caught breaking rules, it is your problem, not ours and the punishment will stick. Your account will be permanently banned from our server if you do it so do not share.

No trading outside GuildCraft
It's not allowed to trade In-Game items or currency for stuff outside GuildCraft, this includes but is not limited to Minecraft Premium Account, PaysafeCard, Paypal balance, Runescape Gold, Runescape accounts, or any other accounts//currency outside GuildCraft. (It is allowed to trade a rank or upgrade for In-Game items or currency). This is to prevent scamming since we have no control/way of overseeing the trade over the bought premium account or money transfers.

Its always best to have an Admin help you with the trade if euros are involved to prevent euro scamming by users in game.

Server threats
Any forms of DDos or Dox threats will result in a permanent removal of our Network.

Double Accounts
It's not allowed to create a second account to play on. It is however allowed to switch from account if you for example want to use another name. This does, however, mean that you're no longer allowed to use your old account.

Insiding (Factions Rule)
Insiding a faction is strictly prohibited and will result in a perm ban of all accounts linked to the insider. Claims will be given back to the faction and Base structure will be repaired. BUT IN GAME ITEMS WILL NOT BE RETURNED

Maximum 20 chunk buffer (Factions Rule)
Faction are from now on allowed a maximum of a 20 chunk buffer at their base. A 20 chunk buffer is equal to 160 walls.

The buffer is measured from the exterior wall of your base (this means from your FIRST wall until your LAST wall), it does not include walls inside the base itself.

If a faction has a buffer that passes it's 20 chunk limit they will be asked to correct it themselves, which of course means unclaiming the buffer and correcting the issue. If a faction refuses to do so an admin may unclaim it's buffer and it can face stricter consequences.

NOTE: it is also prohibited to have a raid claim (cannon claim) in front of your 20 chunk buffer limit to protect yourself from attacking factions. (you are allowed to make a cannon box/claim far BEHIND cannons which attack your base, which u use to blow cannons that attack your base up. But it is strictly forbidden to use these cannon boxes to patch inside to protect your base)

It is also forbidden to have your allies or friends claim in front of your buffer to patch for you when you are being raided by another faction.

If you do not completely understand this rule, make sure to contact a staff member to clear up any uncertainties

Fly in pvp is not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Using fly to escape traps.
• Using fly to get in a base.
• Using fly to position behind your enemy.
• Abusing fly in any way to gain an advantage during pvp
• Do not fly around Warzone and PvP Bases with full gear, make sure you don't have any armour/weapons in your inventory.
• Do not fly in or out traps, even considering you aren't wearing armour. It's provoking and positioning behind an enemy
• When someone hits you while you are flying, go out of fly immediately.
• When someone tries to hit you while you are flying, go out of fly or fly away immediately.
• You mustn't throw potions while flying.
• You are not allowed to use fly to pick up items when someone is killed//items are dropped and fly away with it.
• You are not allowed using fly to the position behind an enemy and tpa other players to give them an advantage on this players.

Any form of charge-backs will result in a permanent ban
All sales are final we do not offer refunds. Contact our sales department if you have any issue.

Accusing a player is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to:

1. Cheats
   
2. Hacks
3. Abuses
4. Glitches

Any other form of getting an advantage in an unfair way is forbidden
Use common sense when you've suddenly found a way to get an advantage. Abusing something that clearly is a bug or not intended may be punished harshly. However, reporting it may result in a large reward in our store so keep that in mind.

Unban & Unmute Requests
Every player on our network that is banned/muted is allowed to make 1 unban or unmute request, depend on the situation. For unban requests, proof will not be shown to the player due to several reasons, the player will have no right to see any proof related to the ban. The head admin of the server that you got banned on will review the unban request and give a final verdict.
For unmute requests, the staff member that muted will review your request, in give a proper proof of the chat message you sent that caused the mute. Those are final and will not change.
