»Monetisation of the server

Some great ways to monetise the server, specifically survival, but I suppose applicable to other similar modes:

- Sell spawners
- Sell infinity chests or wands
- add virtual currency to /vote. i.e:

Someone will /vote and will collect a certain amount of an ingame currency, say, guildcoins. They are in the form of a soup bowl or something, and worth 0.1$ each.

Members can collect/trade these in game, redeem them to their account "guildcoin balance" and once they have a certain amount, say 1$ worth, can redeem them for a voucher to be used in the GC store.

Adds a new aspect to incentivise voting, increases server revenue.

Also when are YouTuber ranks coming? Does GC not care about SEO?

Regarding the YouTube rank, I believe it will be added but no full contender who meet the requirements have applied for it hence why nothing has happened regarding it.

Honestly, I would love to see an addition of a way to receive my own skull in survival. It would be wonderful if it could be purchased with the suggested guildcoins.

 

A vote equalling to 0.1$ seems kinda too OP as a single person can vote about 8 times a day, therefore u can reach 1 dollar in 2 days. If a dollar were that easy to obtain GC would no longer have people who would actually spend actual money for ranks as all the players will just wait for votes to buy their rank. If such were to happen then GC's revenue would greatly decrease causing the eventually closing of the server. In short, thou this a great idea, a vote equalling to 0.1$ is just too much. If it were to ever be implemented then it would have to be nerfed. But its still Great Idea though

 

Agreed, was an example for $0.1 per day, not per individual website voted on, even so it would be $3 a month assuming a vote is performed every day - still too much, the suggestion was an example and the number should be adjusted, assuming it is ever implemented, which I highly doubt.
