I think it would be a good idea to put the rules of the server more obvious to new players since alot of players just walk right by the rule boards when they start on a server. to make this clearer to new players i suggest that everyone when they first join a server needs to accept a set of rules. (the rules that are set for that specific server) and untill they have accepted these rules the chat is disabled for them. they can read the rules by typing /rules [page] and accept them by /rules accept (this is only availeble when they checked all the pages). I know this is possible since i have seen it a long time ago on another server i used to play, i dont know how they did it so if someone knows what im talking about feel free to explain as much as u can. This should not be seen as a reason for staff to avoid warning new players (this should also stay the same as it is now ofcourse) but it would reduce the amount of people that break the rules because they are new. i hope you agree and maybe we'll see this added some day.
I remember loggin on to teamxtreme 4 years ago and u had to memorise the rules and they test u on it and u get kicked for not answering correctly lol
Maybe a possible quiz? You MUST complete this quiz before getting into the server. Questions like "Is griefing allowed?" or "Is swearing allowed" with yes/no questions could help I think .
No just no there are also small children who are playing here, if you gonna let them answer question they will get kicked because they don't know the answers. and guildcraft will get less players....
I don't agree with the "quiz" idea, but making them more obvious would be great. Most of the time I don't even know where the rule boards are (besides Prison..). I mean, I'm older so I know from experience that there is a full set of rules on the forums. Some younger folks may not know that. Either way, even adding a /warp Rules would be beneficial for the folks who run right by it. On the flip side, most server rules are the same - and common sense is always expected as well! To be fair, if someone is doing something and questioning their action, they should check for /rules or /warp Rules before doing it.
Agree. But it would be better while registering an account/ choosing a server in hub for first time, they must read the rules in order to join the server. (I think)
