»[Legacy Tokens]A creative yet fun way to earn them!

Hey GC-er's,

So hear me out...We all know that because of the EULA, the shops that have been previously open before, that allowed you to buy ranks through using real-life currency, are now closed. This means good-bye to buying titan keys for prisons, or buying kits for factions, etc. We have also seen how hard it is to earn legacy tokens via voting, and it takes a WHILE. So one options/possibility could be:
A LOTTERY System!

- As we know, for every server, you can earn a maximum of 1 legacy token per vote(s). (You can vote 6 times a day, so you earn a maximum of 6 legacy tokens per day)
- The legacy shop for ranks is extremely expensive and you can't really use your token until you reach around the hundreds.

Knowing this information, and know the urge of all you players to want to progress and get better stuff...What better way to put these legacy tokens to use other than a LOTTERY system, where you can earn all kinds of crazy stuff for your selected/preferred game! For example, lets use Prisons:
Lets say I'm playing prisons and I check my legacy token balance and I see I have 20 legacy tokens:

[Druglord][Free] JangoDarkBlade: Legacy Token Balance: 20

I look at the ranks in the legacy shop and I see that they are suuuuuper expensive and I realize that these legacy tokens won't really be of any use to me until I reach the hundreds in terms of my balance. This would then make me think: "Well, then whats the point of voting if it'll take 100+ days to earn 100 tokens?" (I'm Lazy, I know lol) Well implementing this lottery system would then give me a reason to use my legacy tokens and keep me interested in voting.

One way we could organize this, would be by following a type of "Lottery Ticket" - esk format, where the player, on whatever game they are playing, can buy a note or some type of item that would serve as the "lottery ticket". The player would then open up the lottery menu by doing a command of sorts(ex: /lotteryperks, /lotteryticket, /lotteryredeem, etc.) and try to cash in their ticket into the lottery.

In terms of prisons, such prizes could consist of:
- Armor: Ranging from Protection II Iron sets to Prot IV Unbreaking III sets
- Tools: Ranging from simple Diamond Pickaxes(Efficiency I, Unbreaking I, Fortune I/Silk Touch I) to God Pickaxes(Efficiency V, Unbreaking III, Fortune III/Silk Touch I)
- Swords and bows: [Swords] - From Wooden to Diamond with enchants ranging from a variation of level 1 enchantments to a maxed out god sword(no custom enchants) {Bow}- From low level 1 enchants to a maxed out bow
- Exp: 500 - 15000 exp
- Donate Coins: 200 - 2000
- Full Titan Set of armor(Prot V, Unbreaking III)
- Epic Animal Cooker
- Epic Pets(Wither, Ender Dragon, etc.)
- Titan Pickaxes: Ranging from Lvl 1 to Lvl 5
- Legacy Tokens: 100 -1200

And so on and so forth...

The items in the lottery will vary per game depending on whatever items are common and rare in every game.

The luck of being able to obtain each item, varies depending on how the staff wants to organize it and based upon how hard they want these items to be able to be obtained.

You might even be able to throw in a few new things such as maybe a spawn egg of a villager as an item with a 0.001% chance to be able to obtain, since in prisons, villagers can give you amazing trades.

If this idea was to come to fruition, there should be a limit of sorts to how many times you can use lottery tickets and how many you can buy per day. Something that won't make it too easy to gain items from the lotto.

The whole point of this is to suggest how you should add a lottery system, which would help the players use their legacy coins for something and to keep them interested in voting/make them more interested in voting. Hopefully this can happen!

Yea I know, which is why the staff can decide on what would be fair, such as how many times you can play your lottery tickets per day, or how many lottery tickets you can buy over a certain period of time, what kinds of items will be offered, etc. I mostly just gave examples above, but the general gist of my whole suggestion is to implement a way to keep people interested in voting since the it would take forever to even be able to earn legacy tokens for anything in the legacy shop.

Maybe something like 5 legacy tokens for 1 lottery ticket? I don't really know xP

 

I'd just like to trade tokens in /trade, I think they're a great currency. Once we can buy them with IGM, it will amount to the same thing anyway.

(For example) Mine all day, find 200 diamonds, trade someone for 10 tokens.

This is a great idea, someone in the comments said that it will be too op considering the fact that you can vote a total of 6 times per day, that's why a lottery ticket could cost 3 legacy points at once, so you can do it only 2 times per day. That seem's pretty okay to me. Anyways nice idea, i like it and hope to see it in-game and on all servers +1
