»I am apparently already registered

Hi, so I have this problem.. I've never been on the server but I get a message in the chat for me to do /login. So I guess someone has already registered on my account? I would like to get my password changed if it would be possible since this is on an official minecraft account that I paid for.

 

I mean, shouldn't I have the right to use my own account? The guy hasn't been on the server in like 2 years I bet, I don't think he's coming back either.

Premium servers use UUID's when joining so if you purchase a rank and change your IGN, your UUID is unique and highlights YOU are YOU, even with a different IGN. We only use the /password feature to identify who is who due to us catering for Cracked players.
The password is what helps you identify that you are the person playing on that account, because anyone with a cracked launcher can login and try to join GuildCraft with your current IGN.

There is a few methods you can try if you wish to play on our server, either with the same name or different names.

• Change IGN's

If you are using a cracked launcher, you can easily change your IGN to something else you'd like to play as. For some launchers, this is unlimited. If you are a premium user, you can only change your username every 30 days.

• Request for ownership of the account.

You can request ownership of the desired account if the original user is no longer an active player and has obtained no ranks. You can do this by making a support ticket here

This isn't always guaranteed, that's why we suggest changing your username.
