Some of you may know this, but I have been writing a book recently. Ten days ago I completed the first draft of 46k words, and since then I have gone through and edited the draft twice. Now I'm looking for people who would be willing to give reading it a go. You don't have to be someone who wants to give feedback, I'll be happy letting people read it for fun too. E.g., the second chapter involves a character killing several people with a knife, and the seventh chapter involves physical torture. I might end up asking a few questions before actually sending you the manuscript though, depending on how I'm feeling. Please don't waste my time trying to steal my work, as I have proof that this is my work and that I started writing this ages ago. If you want to give a decent amount of feedback, I would appreciate it if you could also fill out the following questions in addition to your feedback: 1) Is English your first language, or would you consider your English to be as good as your first language? Or are you not that great at understanding English? 2) How much do you read? How long have you been reading for? 3) Is this book a type or genre that appeals to you? 1) English is indeed my first language. 2) I read on average about 400 pages a day. I have been reading full fledged books since kindergarten. 3) This does appeal me. I love to read fantasy and action novels. 4) 13 going on 14, male. Thoughts: I am a bit busy so I only got about 15 pages in, but here is my opinion so far. It has lots of depth. Good character speech. Written in a first person sort of view, which I like. Not too much swearing, just in the perfect context. Books inside of books.... To quote Micheal Rosen "Nice" Talking about a god name Amon, could possibly be Amon-re who is the sun god in Egyptian mythology. So points for that. Already getting into the main story this early? Ehhh, a bit more background please. Ie, day to day lives, about the characters, bit of the plot. Overall, its a great book an I wish you the best.

you can make a pretty Damn good book but unfortunately this isn't my kind of genre. But don't let that lower your hopes.Keep practicing man!
