DISCLAIMER: AXED IF YOU DO THIS MAKE SURE ITS 1.7.10 OR THIS SUGGESTION WILL NOT WORK Many people have quit GuildCraft and I could say many of the big kids left to HCF (Joker1739, BatRocksPlayz, doodiedie45, frizzyleo, myself actually, WillyTheNOOB (saw him on ArsonPvP) and many others) and to bring many of those back here you gotta make HCF here too fam. For those who don't know what HCF is this is what it is: What is HCF? HCF stands for Hardcore Factions. This should be quite self explanatory from now; basically it's a more hardcore version of standard Factions, which can be found on servers such as the Archon. Everything is different about it, from the base style of PVP, all of the way to the competitiveness and the base designs that factions adopt. HCF tends to be more competitive than normal factions, as I previously mentioned, with factions competing against one another to be the very best. The map resets every 7 weeks or so normally in HCF, and a new 'kit' is introduced, along with an ending event (I will explain this later). Summary:- HCF = Hardcore Factions, it's a lot harder than normal factions! The map resets every 7 weeks or so and things change each map. Factions: Factions are able to claim land depending on how many people are in the faction. Factions can only go 'raidable' when they are sent to negative DTR (Deaths until Raidable) by killing a certain amount of their players. You CANNOT build or destroy inside of faction land, nor shoot TNT to raid it. TNT Cannons are NOT buildable like on standard Factions, therefore bases are tend to look pretty rather than durable. Commands There are very few commands on HCF. You will not be able to warp anywhere other than to your faction's home. Therefore if you wish to run to spawn, then you must run there. Even if you want to go to your base you will have to wait until your 'PVP Timer', or 'PVP Tag' runs out - every time you get hit your PVP tag will reset to the designated time, which is usually 60 seconds. This means that you cannot /f home in the middle of a fight, therefore must hide or escape before you warp to your home. Also, if you try to get into spawn whilst PVP tagged you will be thrown back out, and therefore must not be hit for one minute straight before you can get into spawn to escape. Summary:- You cannot warp to locations other than your faction's designated home Ores You'll find that ores are easier to find around the map, as the spawn rates are increased from the normal, vanilla, game. Summary:- Ore spawn rates are increased on HCF. Map kits / Enchantments Every map there is a different 'kit'. Basically this is referring to the maximum enchantments that you can get on your armor, tools, and weapons, and it determines what potions are and aren't brewable. Here is an example of a good mapkit I recommend: Armor enchants: Protection 1, Sharpness 1, Fire Aspect 0 (disabled), Flame 1, Power 4, Infinity 1, Blast Protection 0, Fire Protection 0, Projectile Protection 0, Smite 0, Bane of Arthropods 0, Feather Falling 4, Unbreaking 3 Potions: Splash Instant Health II, Speed II (can be extended), Fire Resistance extended, Poison extended (no Poison 2), Slowness extended (No Slowness 2) Donator Ranks perks, items etc. Crate Keys: Its possible to get higher than the mapkit, and thats from Crate Keys, this is what donator ranks get. Crate keys are often sorted by Tiers, there is usually 3 tiers Lives: You get deathbanned if you die, but to avoid this donators would have lives, using a life gets them unbanned from deathbans, however this does NOT freeze your DTR, so if you are a solo faction and you died and revived yourself and die again, well you go raidable. Kits: There are NO kits on HCF, the only kit is a fishing rod with Lure II, 16 steak and maybe a Starter Key Removed perks: Since this is HCF, donators will have removed perks that are too op for HCF, here are examples: no sethomes, no flying, no echest, no pv, no kits, only prefix, nick, crate keys and lives. Recommended stuff for Donators: Member: Starter key, 0 lives, [Member] prefix, 3:30:00 deathban Donator: 2 T1 keys, 3 lives, [Donator] prefix, 3:15:00 deathban VIP: 3 T1 keys, 5 lives, [VIP] prefix, 3:00:00 deathban Hero: 1 T2 key, 2 T1 keys, 8 lives [Hero] prefix 2:45:00 deathban Elite: 1 T3 key, 3 T2 keys, 10 lives [Elite] prefix 2:30:00 deathban Legend: 1 T3 key, 5 T2 keys, 12 lives [Legend] prefix 2:00:00 deathban DemiGod: 2 T3 keys, 8 T2 keys, 15 lives [DemiGod] prefix 1:30:00 deathban G0d: 5 T3 keys, 10 T2 keys, 15 lives [God] prefix and change color of name 1:00:00 deathban Titan: 10 T3 keys, 20 T2 keys, 20 lives [Titan] prefix and fully custom /nick 30:00 deathban When you die in HCF, you receive a deathban. This means that regardless of how you die, whether it's another player, or lava, or a mob, you will be banned from the server for a set amount of time. I recommend that the time that you are banned for has been determined on what rank you are, with more expensive ranks giving you a shorter deathban. This is one of the main reasons as to why this is 'hardcore' factions. Many noobs will crack under the pressure, and will often panic. Summary:- When you die, you get a tempban which has a time decided by your rank. SOTW and EOTW HCF resets are very well organized, resets are scheduled and not random like regular factions, which has a weird ass SOTW like 5am and then there would be 15 people online right at regular factions SOTW, but HCF resets are alot more organized, in HCF its not called reset, its called SOTW and EOTW. SOTW: stands for Start of the World. a set time is given so everybody gets ready and gets online for SOTW, usually the SOTW is at a set time and the HCF server is open 30 minutes before SOTW, 30 minutes before SOTW is the time where you recruit your faction members. During this time the spawn is closed down by a red glass barrier, after the SOTW barrier is down, people are to run out to make their bases and start grabbing wood and mining, EOTW: stands for End of the World. This is the last time of the map before it gets deleted and SOTW happens the next day, this usually is on for 1 or 2 hours, before EOTW, people are to get ready (grab a set of gear and potions) before the server restarts for EOTW. After the server restarts, everybody is teleported out randomly, a KoTH is at spawn and whatever faction captures it wins EOTW, PvP is enabled at spawn. All factions are set to RAIDABLE including wilderness players making a new faction. Usually you (15 maximum members) and your ally (1 maximum ally) are to meet at a certain coordinates, usually your base or your allies base, so you guys meet up and you guys go gang gang on your way to spawn, after you get to spawn you attempt to cap the KoTH the faction that caps the KoTH gets some keys and fire aspect swords for the next map. Common HCF terms/phrases They're the basics for gameplay, so lets get into some common terms in HCF that you'll need to understand that should help you out: SOTW: This means Start of the World. It basically refers to when a new map starts, which is normally a day after a map ends. EOTW: End of the World, which means that this is the event of the map, where all faction bases are unclaimed, and a KOTH styled capture point is at spawn where factions compete to try and be crowned as the EOTW Winners. LFF: This means 'Looking for a Faction'. You will see a lot of this on the Forums and in-game. If a player is looking for a faction for HCF then they'll often make a post listing their different skills, and past factions to try and get an invite to one. Basebitching / BB: A basebitch, is basically someone who sits in the base often and is required to brew potions for the faction, grind armor, or go out and mine. These tend to be the friendliest people in the faction. For some reason people find this fun; personally it's not my thing, but whatever floats your boat! Kite: To run from a fight, to a determined place, whether you're kiting to your base, or to a trap, or even to spawn. Quickdrop: This means that a player died to another player whilst they had potions on them. It tends to be used when the player has more than 5 potions on them. Power Faction: A faction that has the maximum number of players in it, which tends to vary from map to map. Farm: If you are farming then you're often in the End, grinding the creepers & endermen for supplies. Pearl block / Pearl cooldown: After a player has pearled, he cannot do so for another 15 seconds or so. Therefore if their pearl is blocked by another player, then they'll most likely end up using a lot of potions in an attempt to escape. If a player is on pearl cooldown then they've just pearled, and should be targeted in a fight, as they cannot escape using an enderpearl. Please do this suggestion, I spent a long time working on this thread and I thought it was worth the time because GuildCraft needs to be fixed and I think HCF will fix it. I hope you use this suggestion. @aXed @Tenderman @eXDawnsaur @Tibo442 @Arjenpro @KinqCake @TheCatsKing
Wew so much words btw im sure they wont add hcf i want to tell you the reason why but too lazy to write it all here
I like the way you implemented the ranks for hcf, although the higher ranks got a little too op. Some things not accurate- "which can be found on servers such as the Archon" Meh, archon isn't really hcf centered, could've found a better example. G0d: 5 T3 keys, 10 T2 keys, 15 lives [God] prefix and change color of name 15:00 deathban Titan: 10 T3 keys, 20 T2 keys, 20 lives [Titan] prefix and fully custom /nick 15:00 deathban (Changed lives and Time) Commands: you cant /f home in enemy territory and you need to go to wilderness and wait for your spawn tag to expire, or if you can't go to wilderness /f stuck and wait for 5 minutes. "Also, if you try to get into spawn whilst PVP tagged you will be thrown back out" A player-sided glass wall appears that blocks you from entering spawn if you're tagged. 'Kits: There are NO kits on HCF' But there are classes. You completely forgot Bard, Archer and Miner
Hahaha if guildcraft releases hcf xddddd Look buddy this server is cracked Which means ban evasion is 10 times easier + hcf requires staff to be on most of the time (which will not happen that easly) + it requires screensharing skills (I belive some gc admins know how) and yea the main idea of this reply is dont be surprised if youre base got phased in shit ton of times a day (idk about the anticheat ) and im surprised you learned all this from playing 1 map at a dead server
deathbans are dumb. titan should be 1 hour. god 1 hour 15min demi god 1hour 30 min legend 2 hours elite 2 hours 30min hero 2 hours 45 min Vip 3 hours donator 3 hours 15 mins member 3 hours 30min this is how hcf would be fun. there is no fun in 5 min deathb an or 15 deathban
ok ok to make it clear joker got banned doodie got banned willy got banned thye didnt exactly leave and i just got bored of its shit always getting haxuated and no one ever pvps
+1 if gc brings hcf to the network i will 99% come back and so will many people. the reason gc is dying out cause its boring. the network is losing something that fun to do. tbh alot of people would rather build a small base where no one can raid unless they die a shit ton. i mean this would be fun to play on gc tbh
i changed it but an hour deathban for a guy who paid 350 euros to the server should get like 30min deathban
It wouldn't work since this server is cracked so many people could come on after they die with a vpn and a different account.
I mean, you got literally the whole post from here: (https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/107727) but ok.
3:30 Minuets for member? I don't rellythink hcf should have ranks to make it more fair for the people not able to donate
Step 1) OPEN MINECRAFT 2)OPEN MULTIPLAYER 3)GOOGLE HCF SERVERS 4)CTRL+C a random server 5) The hardest one Ctrl+v into add server 6) Don't thank me
I think that they are not gonna make hcf here on GC,but if you wanna play hcf or hct you can go on hcteams.com...GL with this suggestion.
