----===============================================---- Déjà vu? - Deflector You are the mirror Show your enemies what they have done, and make them feel what you are feeling. Every 20 seconds, deflect all negative effects into your enemies. Stone Sword, Wooden Pick, Wooden Axe, Soul Mirror (Music disc - mall) (Cooldown: 20s) Soul Mirror - Cooldown: 20s Passively, the first enemy hit on a fight will give you a random negative potion effect, for 10 seconds. Right click on an enemy (you can also use your sword) to remove all negative potion effects from you and send them to your enemy. In the process, all effects you deflect get their level doubled; the effect's lenght will always be 12 seconds. Example: If a Chaos Lord comes to you and infects you with Weakness II for 10 seconds, deflecting that into the enemy will infect it with Weakness IV for 12 seconds. Trying to Deflect nothing will do nothing, but will still consume your cooldown. Note: Fire is also deflected for 12 seconds. Explanation As we've been adding more and more Debuff kits, and many upgrades add debuffs too, i thought we need a way of countering those, so that's why i thought on this Anti-Debuff kit (Although I suggested it like 3 years ago, you know, time travel and stuff) I also think it's pretty easy to make (Triggered Jono), and won't cause any harm to have a way to counter those kits that keep you debuffed all the time. ----===============================================---- Please leave your feedback. Would you use this kit? What would you change? Quick reminder: We can nerf / buff it later if it's not balanced.
In the middle of pvp this might not be the best thing in the world to use. Sure you can disengage and try to run away but most of the debuffs end up reducing your speed or interrupting your sprint. I wont use this kit that's for sure. It doesnt sound like fun. It adds good strategic value to anni kits but players want to have some fun as well. I dont like the idea of it.That's pretty much my feedback
Well yeah, it's not really meant to be a funny kit, it's supposed to be an strategic kit to take down kits that rely completely on debuffing opponents, you might not use this kit every time you play, but if a bunch of Vipers (example) are rushing you, you can pick this to counter them. Although I'll consider this, i might buff it right now.
Wait so if, invisibility was considered a negative effect (cuz u inverse nightvision by adding fermented spider eye) you could give 12 sec invisibility to ur enemy... nice
I think this is a good kit suggestion as it involves strategy and it could come handy for the team . However , I think we should buff it a little bit for example , make it a 40% chance to be able to deflect the mage's fireball or other special abilities . (Note that is just an example )
Negative effects are all effects that harm or weaken you. Invisibility is not a negative potion effect.
- Added passive ability, this will be really good for you if Soul Mirror's cooldown is up, but won't be a nice surprise if not. The new passive gives yourself a negative effect on the first hit you get on a fight. - Now deflects fire too @ShadowGunGR
Deflector is OP. Imagine this: You're playing on Ayesland, and Phase 3 just started. You and your teammates, all in OP iron gear, build a wooden fortress around mid, set a Dryad flower or two and begin mining dia. Three Deflectors on each team arrive at mid to kill you, but they end up hitting each other. One of the deflectors with Wither uses his special to transmit his effect onto his adversary. This inflicts 12 seconds of Wither II on his foe. The second deflector quickly uses his special on the third in order to avoid a slow, painful Wither II death. Now the third deflector is stuck with 12 seconds of Wither IV. Panicking, he turns around and uses his Special at the first player he sees. You're dead before you know it. Four times two is eight, folks. Watch what you're calling UP.
... in an hypothetical case in which there are 3 Deflectors with their cooldowns up and cooperate to get Wither 8 which is also a random effect from a ton other negative effects. Although, i will check the new passive later and maybe add something else instead of it.
Why do i like using them on the upgrades or why do i think they should have counterplay? If it's the second, basically because lots of kits have debuffs now adays and i thought it would be nice to use their own abilities to kill them. Huehue
Not a bad kit.. Considering that this an anti-debuff kit I'll probably buy it if it's about 25k. A great way to destroy vipers and dryads or any other debuff kits. Can this kit deflect all the mages ablitites?
Not really, it just deflects potion effects like poison, wither, slowness, etc. It doesn't deflect fireballs / arrows
Its one of those kits you use for a short duration of time in a game. Definitely not a normal kit like scout, acrobat etc. Main usage would probably when farmers approach base or you're rushing.. Probably a kit for the rich boys who want to try new stuff; not for casual players :/ I certainly won't consider purchasing this kit. However, creative idea. +1 cuz y tf not lolxd
