Recently, Mojnags EULA hit down on MC servers really hard. Although I am against Pay 2 Win, Severs are running out of income methods. But i noticed that vote rewards have been disable for quite some time and I am wondering why. Any player can vote and it is not is not Pay 2 Win at all. Voting is a very useful feature for me. Leave any explanation and/or comments below. Thanks!
Well mojang treats voting like cash because you have to vote to get the rewards (Just liked you used to pay for ranks)
What you or we think and feel would not matter to Mojang. They have set a notion that the players are using their "time" to vote and have set this against the EULA for that sole reason.
@MCWolf , voting as Mojang says is pay time to win so it's either all players get a reward when 1 person votes or nobody gets rewards. That's why there are currently no rewards for voting. Long story short, time is now hard currency
Axed said that there will be a new temporary system which will reward everyone online when a certain amount of votes has been reached. So you will still be able to get rewards from voting
A token for voting is treated as currency which has come from outside the game, just like Euro or Dollars. Any currency from outside the game (that is not IGM) cannot be brought in to give one player an advantage. I understand what mojang is saying with this policy, but I wholly disagree with it. However, mojang has the power here, and they're going to move forward with this.
