Alright, here it is... the twenty fourth comic. I didn't think we'd make it this far, honestly I didn't think we'd even make the series this long. Anyways, continuing from the previous comic, Kocoski, Luisa and I were heading towards the Kingdom of Order. What danger lurks there? Let's find out... Stumbling across the Kingdom of Order, Kocoski and Luisa run up the tall, round hill which was covered in lush, green grass. Atop the hill was a glorious view of the Kingdom. The group of birds that circled the orange, sunset sky and the reflection, painted onto the ocean makes it more breath-taking. Each second after a blink was a wonder to behold. PyroKnight: Boy. Prepare yourself... the King of Order may seem generous at first, but believe me, he will not hesitate to strike us down. Kocoski: It’s fine... as long as we’re together, we can defeat the king. You’re not alone this time. Staring deeply into my eyes with determination, Kocoski was lit up with glee. Luisa felt the opposite, gazing at Kocoski and I. She seemed troubled, confused, mainly stressed. She already lost italo, she can’t afford to lose another friend. She turns to Kocoski and I. Luisa: Wait! Something doesn’t feel right... Kocoski: What? What is it? Luisa: Do you know WHY we’re going to kill the King of Order? Kocoski: Wait a minute... PyroKnight? Why ARE we going to fight the King? Within the time Kocoski was finishing his sentence, I was caught in a trance. In my own fantasy... it was mesmerising, hypnotic in a sort of way. Fed up with my day dreaming, Luisa found a large rock, it wasn’t too big... but it was large enough for her to lift with two arms and slightly carry. She asks Kocoski for existence to toss the rough stone. Luisa counted to three, however before she could get to two, I sliced the rock in half. PyroKnight: Should’ve finished what I started a long time ago. The two children were lingering behind me, they withdrew their weapons and they kept their eyes peeled incase in danger. We arrived at the thick, metal, iron gates that blocked our path. Without anyone noticing i melted the bars, leaving it to turn to goo. Solid gates are no more, allowing Kocoski and Luisa to enter the Kingdom. Kocoski: What about you? Luisa: How are you going to get inside without people noticing? PyroKnight: That’s the idea. I won’t be inside. Luisa: What are you talking about? PyroKnight: Kocoski. I need you to create a distraction to lure the townsfolk to a corner or where they’re nowhere near the castle. Can I entrust you with this task? Kocoski: Certainly. I nod my head, Kocoski nods back and the three of us split up. Kocoski and Luisa were distracting the townsfolk and I was heading to the wall closest to the castle doors. Kocoski is in the center of town alongside Luisa whom is thinking of how to distract the townsfolk. Luisa: What if we start a riot? Saying that the king is going to burn the kingdom? Kocoski: That plan won’t work, we want to get the kingdom AWAY from the castle, we don’t need them circling the castle chanting or writing poems of how bad their king is. Plus he’s the King of Order, so he’s unlikely to burn anything. Luisa: I don’t see you coming up with good ideas. Kocoski: I’m not used to thinking on the spot. I don’t make vast decisions swiftly. Luisa turned her head to a sign on a small brick hut. The lines engraved in the paper said ‘Hunting the God of Thunder, Bounty £50,000, Must be ALIVE’. Luisa gets Kocoski’s attention and shows him the sign. Knowing it’s him, Kocoski panicked for a bit... then got a sudden idea. Kocoski: Luisa, find me a good hiding spot. Luisa: What? Why? Kocoski: Just trust me. Luisa looked around the corner for a nearby hiding spot. With a stroke of luck, they came across a pile of broken barrels, that Kocoski can hide in perfectly. Luisa signals for Kocoski, telling him to go to the barrels to hide. Luisa: Ok, so what’s the plan? Kocoski: Just act surprised... Kocoski hides inside of the broken barrels, sharp metal and pointy wood didn’t make it the most comfortable but it must do. With Kocoski mustering up all of his energy, he shot a thunderbolt into the sky. With a flash and BANG, the village was frightened and looked outside the castle walls, where the lightning struck. Luisa runs into the middle and yells, trying to get their attention. Luisa: Look! Out there! The god of thunder! He’s near, i feel his presence... the £50,000 bounty will be claimed soon. But who will get it? The village looked at each other and broke out in angry screams, lighting torches, sharpening pitchforks, gathering every weapon they have in their arsenal, and marched out the gates. In the villagers state of panic, they didn’t even care about the melted gate. Whilst all of the villagers left the kingdom, it was only us and the King. Kocoski: Alright... let’s end thi... PyroKnight: No boy.... this is my fight. Kocoski stands in a spot confused, looking at Luisa to understand what’s happening. Meanwhile, I enter the castle doors. In front of me was a long, dark hallway. There was barely any light, I could rarely see the large archway that was right in front of me. As I passed through the dark hallway I found enormous silver doors, larger than The Soul Eater. Through the doors, I found the King of Order, Frxq. On his throne, the mighty king stabbed at his arm, licking the blood that ran down his arm, which formed a symbol. The symbol of strength. Frxq looked up and gazed at me for a bit, then slowly standing up. Frxq: Ah... I should’ve known you would come... tell me... what is it, that you’re really after? Your dead friend? Your dead mother? Or vengeance on your father, whom left you to rot in the mortal realm? It doesn’t matter... the God of Thunder is no matter to me... as long as I bring your head to the table... my work will be done. His intense eye movements startle me. His intimating eyes make it look like he has an aura, surronding him. He continues to monologue... Frxq: Do you feel that PyroKnight? Do you feel your sins... taking over your dying body? Well then... the other gods had their chances... I will not fail! Frxq pants and breathes heavily like an hungry wolf, hunting for prey. PyroKnight: We’ll see, King Frxq. His eyes widen and made a leap towards me, I get out of the way in time. He withdraws his sword, pouring his blood into the greyish blade. So the duel begins, trading blow after blow, swords clashng and sparks flying, causing the floor to catch on fire. I knock him into the fire, but he comes out unharmed. He leaps towards me again and continues to attack aggressively. Soon after, I cut off his bleeding arm, leaving it on the floor, making a bloody pool. Frxq: No, no, no, nonononono! NO! My precious... my sweet enriching blood. Did I forget to mention that Frxq has a lust for blood? Anyways Frxq showed grief and anger in his face, he rose his sword into the air using his remaining arm. The clouds begin to shift and stir, making the air travel faster than usual. Thus giving Frxq the power to control wind. With his new found power, Frxq waves his sword in a horizontal line and creates a hurricane that wipes out the castle completely. Leaving only just him and me. It was an excellent duel, I summoned fire slashes, Frxq summoned hurricanes with each of his slashes, causing the ground to crack a bit. Frxq started to break down during the fight, saying that he misses his daughter, Amelia. As tears filled the King of Order’s eyes, I took the opportunity and striked him in the throat causing him to crumble to feet like a mountain, blood erupting from him like a volcano. To finish it all off, I snatched his sword and cut him open, ripping his heart out. The king struggles to stand, his vision turns blurry and he leaves out a big sigh, whispering the words: ‘Ameila... I’m coming home.’ With those being his last words, the fallen king soon drops to ground, like raindrops. PyroKnight: You’ll see her again. Someday. Kocoski: PyroKnight!! Behind me I see the children, they run up to me and ask me if I’m alright. I told them everything that happened. So with The King of Order defeated, there’s still the Army of Gods and other kings to fight, so until then... To be continued...
