Welcome readers, to another comic. I’m pretty sure by now you know the golden rule; If you’re uninterested, don’t call it boring or spam. Ignore this thread, ignore this series and don’t look back. For those of you who DO want to read, last we were up to VoidKnight’s scythe glowing an unusual colour... let’s see what happens next.

A fallen knight lies on the hard, concrete ground. He reaches for his scythe, but unable to muster up the strength to fufill the task. His weapon glows a dark purple and it gets brighter and brighter every second. Italo and Kocoski shield their eyes from the rays of light. Suddenly the glow stops, revealing VoidKnight bent down on one knee. He scythe turns into a large blade as tall as his body except his head and stabs it into the ground with a heavy force. Dust and ash swirls and whirls and twrils around him, causing an aura of darkness to form.

    Kocoski: What the hell...
    PyroKnight: Valos’ blessing...
    Italo: What?!
PyroKnight: When a knight has completed the tasks given by Valos, they earn Excalibur!
    Kocoski: So, VoidKnight has EXCALIBUR?!
    PyroKnight: Yes!

VoidKnight slowly stands up and withdraws an enormous shield that covers his entire body. The shield is shaped like a hexagon, with a large green eyeball in the centre, resembling sight. VoidKnight is so consumed in anger, he can’t even speak English, but instead snarls and hisses like an angry dog. A rumbling could be heard below us, quaking the earth, causing the temple to slightly collapse. AquaKnight and VineKnight leap from the ground in their soul forms. An embodiment of water and an embodiment of nature. I attempt to transform into my soul form as well until VoidKnight raises his hand and stops me.

VoidKnight: Tsk tsk, I thought this was an honourable duel. I’ve been looking forward to this for 20,000 years.
    PyroKnight: Very well...

I summon Excalibur and hold my posture. VoidKnight does the same, sword forward and shield back. Legs bent, body straight. Chin up and weapons up. AquaKnight and VineKnight charge towards Kocoski and Italo, fighting each of them. It was just me and VoidKnight, and the battle ensues. Our swords clash violently and scraps of metal fly off our armour. He gets more and more aggressive with his sword strikes, he dashes forward with a blinding speed using his shield, he flings his chains wildly similar to mine and he fires dark magic towards me.

VoidKnight: Is that the best you got? You’re as bad as fighting as you’re taking care of that kid!
    PyroKnight: How’d you...
VoidKnight: You took him... away. From his friends... his brother... his... town! You cause havoc everywhere you go! No matter in a village, mountain, small hut or just in the small fields... everyone just has to die, don’t they?!
    PyroKnight: SHUT UP!
VoidKnight: You’re just a cannon gone loose! A disgrace to OUR father! Some firstborn you are!

I snapped. I grab his chains and pull him towards me. I pull his head towards my stomach and beated him senselessly. He eventually got up and threw me off balance, stunning me with his shield. He looks down on me. Not in anger or rage, but in disappointment.

VoidKnight: You left him! Our father, King Valos! You had a chance... and you blew it! I would’ve became king, if not for Valos’ judgement! He said I was too aggressive, too brutal to be a leader. But, by killing you... I can prove him wrong. I will slay my older sibling... and become the heir to the throne!
PyroKnight: You beating me... will not fill your lust for power!
VoidKnight: NO!! IDIOT!! It’s NOT for power! Not for wealth! Not for women! It’s about RESPECT!! When you were created, you HAD a mother! Ever since then, Valos did everything he could to make you the PERFECT ENTITY! When you left, he thought he could make a perfect entity without another person. The minute I was brought into the world, he was disappointed. He trained me to be EXACTLY like you! I then realised, I don’t need to be you... I’m already better than you.
PyroKnight: You know what they say... the cover is never as good as the original.

I uppercut VoidKnight right in the jaw, breaking myself free of his grip. I wrap my chains around him and plunged him into the mortal realm. He brings me along with him and what a fall it was. A sword fight mid air is exhilarating, heart-stomping action, that keeps always keeps you on your toes. VoidKnight uses his shield as platform to keep his landing soft. I quickly grappled us both back into the Chamber of Valos, where we can conclude this rivalry.

VoidKnight: Look around you! Do you see it? The light of the Great King! Whilst you and the boy watch our world crumble. Valos did EVERYTHING to make you his heir and you throw it all away, like a coward!
PyroKnight: There’s more to life than being a king!
VoidKnight: Before I kill you, I have to know. What happened that day? What made you change your mind?! Is it true what the other knights said?! You threw away your leadership because you felt empathy for the mortals?! The weak, pathetic mortals!

An idea struck me harder than VoidKnight’s sword! I knew exactly how to kill him! I counter his shield and knock him onto a pedestal and stuck him there with my sword. He attempts to break free, while I reveal the light of Valos!

PyroKnight: Cara lux, Cara lux. Lux autem rex, victa daemones autem tenebris!
VoidKnight: YOU IMBECILE!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
PyroKnight: Dare spero ut quod peccatorum et emundabit illis autem eorum cogitat malum!!
    VoidKnight: NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

VoidKnight screams in pain as a bright light reveals itself, disintegrating the darkness from the VoidKnight until he was nothing! His sword and shield vanquished along with himself. From the chamber doors, AquaKnight and VineKnight burst in with Kocoski and Italo tied up in thick rope.

AquaKnight: We got them, your Highness.
VineKnight: How do we dispose of...
    PyroKnight: Release them.

The two knights were in shock! Eventually they agreed and let Kocoski and Italo free. VineKnight was surprised and AquaKnight was speechless.

AquaKnight: I don’t know what you did or how you did it... but somehow, you defeated the second son of Valos.
    VineKnight: Good for you, lad.
Italo: Can we... leave now? I’m... tired out... from that... battle!

Italo faints and falls to the ground like an anvil. I carry him on my back and leave the temple. Meanwhile Kocoski was studying the old relics and discovered a wine bottle of shiny, golden liquid. I call out for Kocoski and he follows me straight away after he quickly tucks the bottle in his bag. Kocoski isn’t the only one to have this liquid though. In the dwarven mines, we find a tall man wearing a large black and white cape, standing over tiny men in heavy armour.

Adro: Do you see this little bottle? You’re to only use this for my blade, nothing else... or I’ll behead the lot of you.

The dwarves agree and take the bottle from Adro’s long, thin fingers. One dwarf has Adro’s sword and places it on an anvil, while another has the bottle given by Adro. The dwarves cut the sword open with a rusty, sharp knife and pour the liquid into the sword. The long blade shines a bright light, nearly blinding the short men. One the little men, held the sword and returned it to the King of Balance.

Adro: I’m looking forward to OUR encounter, traitor.

    To be continued...
