»Cannot send messages on the Survival Discord

    Hello. I finally got my discord for computer fixed and joined the Survival server's Discord with the link provided in a post from the "Off-topic" section of the forum. The thing is I cannot send any messages. Is this normal ? Can only staff members send messages or what ? Thanks.

    Look closely at the bottom of the picture. It says in white on white "You to not have permission to send messages in the channel"

    Maybe go to #general or to the global chat for everyone? cuz i think that's announcement or smthing which only for staffs or higher role than member (idk i am not in that server) to chat on.
