What do you mean they're not 'saved?' If they're not saved or stored in a database, how would they be retrievable when a player tries to log in? lawl

I would say that the passwords would be encrypted incase they were ever leaked onto external services for protection measurements. Though I am not certain of this outcome, so I would advise you to ask a Head-Admin+ who may have insight regarding this.
