It doesn't matter, if the hacker has pledged to stop hacking in general and is now playing at a legit status, then that's no problem. Even the other way, there's no need to slam down players who've suggested some ideas to prevent cheating. That's all he's saying in the thread, there's nothing malicious about the suggestions themselves.

He's trying to suggest some ideas in order to prevent cheating to some extent - with some valid points. Sure, he's done some wrong things in the past, but if he comes out and says he's gone past it then that's not a problem. Neither is it if he's claimed that he's reformed to try to prevent what he's done wrong in the past. Likewise, whether he thinks hacks are useless or not, he's claimed to abruptly stopped hacking and these are considerable suggestions. Not saying that I agree with them but he has his ideas. So focus on the situations and don't label him as

On that notice, please don't lash out at members who've reformed. Of course, I could be wrong and he could be hacking at this moment, but neither do you have evidence that he's still a hacker. So whether he's perm banned or not, whether the ban expired or not, you shouldn't be acting too hostile to a person giving his own thoughts because he had hacked in the past.

Of course there's a chance he could be hacking and writing this post at the same time but that's unlikely. Even if it was we have no choice but you don't have evidence that such a thing is happening at this moment - so let's go with what he says.

 

I think i have a bit more knowledge about this then you have. He's stated he "hacked on different alts". That's a permanent ban (according to the rules). Stop speaking about things you don't know much about, thank you.

How is it ban evading when he hacked, he got banned, his ban time expired and he's back on the server?

 

He said he hacked on alts before. How hard is it to understand that is ban evading!?

Even if thats true, I cant confirm it myself, Admins no longer have perms for Ip checks and I can't ban, even when he's admitting to it.
