Bloodknife My idea for a new kit is bloodknife. Bloodknives gain surperior speed and power when using their ability. After the effects wear off, however, the price of the effects must be paid. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You are the fear: Your enemies fear your for your surperior strength in combat after using your ability. This, however, comes at a price: after your positive buffs run out you will be left with only 1 hp. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Starts with: Wooden sword Wooden pickaxe Wooden axe Full leather armor Nexus compass 1 Chirp music disk named sacrefice When using the ability the bloodknife gains: speed II resistance I night vision I fire resistance +1 damage with weapons. regen I (= 2 hearts restored during the 12 seconds) This lasts for 12 seconds. After these 12 seconds have passed the bloodknife will be dealt an amount of true damage which leaves it with 1 hp left (1/2 heart). Ability cooldown: 60 seconds. (note: regaining the lost hp takes 80 seconds). The bloodknife will be informed when his buffs have 5 seconds left. cost: 25k xp Pros: Very strong against singeled out enemies, even able to kill enemies with higher level gear than yours. Able to escape attackers when using the ability Can rush badly defended nexi in phase 2 (1 leather in def will not stand a chance) Cons: Left with 1 hp after the ability runs out If still in combat with /pursued by enemies after your ability runs out, you will die You have a high chance of dying if you are still in the territory of an enemy after your ability runs out. I'm still thinking, but make the effects last shorter so it wont be that OP, and another thing remove the invisibility thing. +1 -1
Removed the invis thing. I agree that it would make the kit too OP and it would be better to reserve that ability for a different kit. Well that kind of is the idea hm? Basically the same thing acro / scout do except that those 2 can get away much quicker. This kit doesnt have a speed boost and once the effects are over you are basically a civ with 1/2 heart in enemy territory. Note for those who want to know on what i based this idea: In a book series named 'The wheel of time' there are suicide assasins named bloodknives.
Well there is a way to get around the 1hp matter. If you make like 6 splash instant health II (4 hearts restored each) costing 38 gold (includes brewing stand), you can heal yourself back up directely after you are left with 1 hp. Also decreased the time to 12 seconds instead of 15
Should it be 2 hearts instead of one? The opponent can just punch you with a fist and you perish. Still, these are good ideas. +1 Does it have to be called Bloodknife though? Isn't that an object?
