A lot of enchanters like to obtain several enchanted golden apples before rushing. I like gapple rushing, too, anyways, I was once gathering apples in Andorra, one of my favourite farming maps, then I realized that one of my apples came from the EXACT leaf block as my last farming game, so now I know that the apples in anni spawn in the same locations everytime ! (or maybe just in Andorra) Apple gathering tricks -use shears to get leaves from trees, then bring the leaves to a safe place, put one down, break it, put one down, repeat the process -remember the location where you got the apple, go to the location next time and get the apple (I'm not sure whether this tip only works in several maps or not) Gold gathering tricks -best for you to get efficiency II or IV iron pickaxe, then craft multiple furnaces to speed up to smelting process Hope these methods help you, again, I'm not sure if the location apple trick only woks in several maps.
