You guys have to understand something:
There are 2 types, positive and negative things about Swapper:
Those are:
It can swap through wall in any thickness. Sadly no one is safe even OP rusher or spy, it should only swap through 2 blocks maximum!
It can swap and kill players who tried so hard and spend to gear up for farm. They deserve to farm fairly!
It can swap anything. They should get only available swappable players!

 

why hate swapper why not try to love it lmfao easy... if i had the kit ofc i would be smart go to mid swap people it has a limited block range even and u can kill it with bow/archer and its a part of anni this thread is pointless...

I just shared my point, i understood many of you are against any changes. I dont really know if its because you like abusing this kit or youre just against anything changing, because you even subscribed to my main critizism.

I wouldnt even make such a thread because i personally hate forums but due to the fact that i just gave anni up because of this one damn kit i thought its needed.

 

No kit is needed it's all about what the community wants. A custom gamemode ( not like potpvp where you have to use the same potion kit to pvp obviously ) doesn't reply on specific kit, annihilation doesn't rely on some kits than others , if that was a good reason to remove swapper than everyone can make a suggestion to remove a kit because " we don't need it" ...

Swapping throu walls is the kit's ability its not abusing, if it didn't have that then anyone can just put 2 blocks and hide behind them and its done . About swapping in lava, i would like to see you stand in a lava trap for 10 sec with swapper and lava buckets are banned anyway LoL...

It can't be, when people asked for refund when scorpio, scout, and thor were nerfed to bs they didn't get a refund. If swapper gets removed people with be shutted again by "anni is in beta if a kit gets nerfed you won't be refunded"

If you are talking about void swapping, Same. If you are saying a farmer will die from a normal trap, he is the stupid one that think he can farm with crappy gear. Like seriously if someone is about to farm he should expecting to fight a whole team anyway he will face the same amount

This whole thing does not deserve the effort of a structured answer, I try it in short form though.

You say exp cant be replaced because when other kits were changed there was no replacement as well and as an example you name Scout and Scorpio. Seriously? Those are probably the most used kits in anni, do you really think there was a refund needed if they are still (for a reason) that popular?

I dont really know what your point about swap traps is. If you get swap-trapped and 2 or 3 enemies are around it, you are dead. Even if you destroy the trap, you need time taking hits from multiple players and even if the trap is destroyed, you still are sorrounded from enemies. if you did in the ground, theyll follow and youre even more likely dead (not to mention the fact that it
doesnt even work everywhere). And i consider void-height-and lava swapping pretty much the same because you are dead and thats it. I dont know what you are asking for: Am i supposed to get a Eff 5 gold pick, Full Diamond with protection and a god apple so i can survive 3 people repeatedly hitting on me without having a chance to defend? Can you tell me a kit that asks for the same things in order to defend it? No? Guess what, you got my point. Congrats.

If somebody says "you dont know who i am" it implies that just because he is what he is, his argumentation is solid. I dont understand your point there as well.

And you CANNOT avoid getting swapped, or am i supposed to trail a solid wall of wooden planks behind me everytime I move a bit?

about that how long I actually play: on this server for at least 2 months. Probably a long living cell, idk.

 

They are not the most used kits ... If you were 6 months ago yes they were the most used. But now they are bs to what they were before. Acro and assassin are the most used kits. And if you nerf a kit and some people still use you conclude that people that didn't like the nerf doesn't deserve a refund ? That's like selling some fake smartphones and then when people ask for a refund they say no because some other people doesn't want a refund since they can still work for phone calls.

No I survived a lot of swap traps You just have to know how to outsmart them...

I don't care what you consider the same. For me i don't bother myself with lava traps / void traps because guess what they are not possible, lava buckets are banned, and void swapping patched. And i never saw a guy make a fall swap trap so ye good for you if you find teammates that won't teamtroll you when u build one.

 

I just said they are often used (in my opinion on the same level as acro and assassin, but let that be a topic for itself) so people seem to like them.

I dont know what exactly you mean with "i survived a lost of swap traps", but of course you dont die when barely anyone is around and you probably saw it comming. In a normal situation in mid, where from the end from phase 2 up to phase 4 basically
all teams are around, you will always have sufficient enemies around you to kill you. You even are an easy target for archers in the trap, they dont even need to stand right next to or under the trap.

And that stuff does not help you on Maps like kingdom, underworld or canyon, they are still all possible and used on those maps.

 

Or you can block up all of holes with wooden planks so they can't hit you anymore. By the time they break the wooden blocks, you would probably dig down further and you escape.

 

I dont know but after this the last person should've noticed that swapper is the kit where you need to be most prepared for while your chances are still pretty bad.

And dont get me wrong, i like anni but i stopped playing it because the fact that theres no cooldown for hits which would prevent players winning only because they have better internet (because thats atm what minecraft pvp essentially is about) and, guess what, swappers.

About that yes I think void swapping is still somewhere "alive" because I saw they can still swap players at the edge of map and then a player hits them...I am pretty sure I have seen it 2-5 times a week >o>
And no, they can't be stupid since they do know how to get rid of them but still they can't keep like that if there is at least 1 swapper and because of that the farmer dies soon or later with only few hits on nexus some other does more some not even 1 hit done because of that it needs a effect on who it can swap long and yeah it's kinda dumb that players can instantly swap them and all of those 45 minutes spending on gears to farm they die from 1 swapper that is of course the god kit who is OP against anything it's so OP it can swap anything instantly so I don't recommend that it can swap actually instantly but that it can swap for amount of time of it's armor and how much full is inventory since many players do maybe thing it's like the most easiest magic trick, to swap bodies, c'mon can there be a logical way to nerf it logically?
I wish it does because it's like a magician kit, etc. swap bodies...ta-da magic trick! <.<

No it can't void swap in beta, and no you can't pick up lava in anni, lava buckets are disabled due to team trolling.
F F S stop being ignorant i said this 3 times already yet everyone still says "Oh no it can kill farmers easily with one punch to the void, oh no lava swapping is so op..."


And btw, swapper doesn't even swap in 1.0 rn.

 

Although there is some way to defend inside a Swapper-trap, Void-swapping is only feasibly escaped by Acrobat, assassin, jumper, scout,... so it's pretty unfair. People sometimes use it to tp-rush too, not just for defend their nexus against farmers. I once got swapped 2 consecutive times by a Leather guy while I'm Leather and another leather guy knocked me to the void (easy kill).

 

Trust me there ARE void swap in beta too I have seen it long before since it's broken I am able to attack fairly

lmfao your arguments are as retarded as you probably are , yes you can void swap in beta and its not bannable and yes you can lava swap in canyon which happens to be the best farming map but ofc swapper ruins it ... next time do some research before saying stupid things like that pls and keep your bs to your self

I can also win with the kit "Godhead" which makes me completely immune to any damage. But that would be unfair, right? Guess what - so is swapper. Fighting fire with fire instead of just balancing the entire game with removing this kit is a stupid suggestion.

We talk about a kit you can extremely powerfully combine with any other kit. Swap to Void, Lava, Water or just in height promises easy kills, a thing not a single of the other kits can provide.

And something about people farming: Just a few things that can happen while you farm:

-> Someone surprises you in redstone/emerald mine -> You're 99% dead
-> 2 or more persons from other teams cross your way and you have no kit that speeds you up -> dead
-> You can do what you want but everything you enchant gets Unbreaking and Blast Protection -> not
even a chance in late game
-> you need to manage 3 opposing teams in mid in order to get diamonds, which is difficult enough
without swap-traps

Getting equipped is hard so those people should actually have benefits in the late-game, because their spot in the team had no use in the first phases cuz they were sitting in the mines gathering exp. If a cleverly used kit can effectively take such people out of the game on mass, its getting ridicolous.

No need to refer to any other posts because its the same sh*t again, were repeating it.

i got to agree tho, we need more kits to counter swappers, but try using swapper to train ur pvp leki me
