Hello my name is Hugh Armstrong, im more commonly known as tbi. I have a dream, a dream of all players on gc coming together for one common goal! that goal being that we all peacefully assemble to form a lobby group concerned with one thing and one thing only! Lobbying to change aspect's of the server we all know and love! from my observations it's becomes abundantly clear that the average player on guildcraft lacks proper representation. given the new rules regarding the eula, even unbans have become all but impossible. there are many aspects of our server that require drastic, sweeping changes in order for it to continue to be economically viable. the aim of our lobby group will be to garner donations and input that is otherwise left unheard via the existing systems in place, we will aim to petition axed to make several sweeping changes for the better of all involved. as the "people" its our time and money that makes this wonderful virtual place clang forward, without us there would be no guildcraft. that said... its about time we all formed an all encompassing lobby group that directly funnels donations of any sort towards guildcraft, and furthermore petitions axed with those donations and the many signatures we could collect, to effect changes to guildcraft. for some time now they(staff) have tried their best too appease us, they have worked very hard to enact the changes necessary to keep guildcraft viable. but that is not enough! I... Hugh Armstrong insist we throw down the shackles of our previous system, and strive for something superior! this would be a system where we "all" lobby for the plugins, feature changes, and all around representation... we need and want. at this point if you get permabanned your gone for good! there is no turning back! once upon a time I was banned from a server that had no system to refute bans like that, and its not fare! if we cannot buy our way out, then other players should be able to donate and petition for an unban. thats the way it should work.(and thats not against the eula) some of the other sweeping changes I'd have to insist upon is a global player plugin where players can pay to have a warp to their build where all can access it regardless of rank. as the current standing mayor of farland I assure you I am not a greedy man, I'm soon going to be responsible for maybe one of the largest public farms ever built on the survival server ever, this farm may infact be the largest most sophisticated ever conceived on guildcraft "Period". no joke its going to be that awesome! but* without a player warp plugin or even an option to buy a warp, my farm will be restricted to teleports from people who have homes set there. fact is there are several asymmetric workarounds to the eula the staff at guildcraft are overlooking, and that is no fault of ours! its all on them for not looking outside the box. ~~~~~~ but I have a solution! this is a solution conceived by the people for the people. in this ideal solution, we all come together and form a lobby group they cannot ignore! theses issues we all face day to day are not technological in nature, they are issues of economics and awareness. they will never make a change unless its become abundantly clear that the silent Moriarty has spoken. so I propose that all the clans/factions/and singular players come together, I propose we organize our selves into an "all rank alliance" dedicated towards representing the common player! this lobby group with its donations and various petitions will be able to effect great change! after all without the players guildcraft would be nothing.
