(Survival)

So... I'm UnderMan. Hi.
I've been playing on GuildCraft for a couple weeks now. I'm a regular Survival player and it's all that i play because my favorite kind of gametype is Survival in fact.
There are some very good and helpful admins on your Survival servers, indeed. *cough cough jess and DeathTrap love u guys <3 cough cough*

However, recently i was playing with a friend, more specifically, a couple minutes ago.
My problem occurred because one single admin that was online, who i've never seen doing anything good on the server and is always afk, decided to be a d*ckhead with random people, since he had nothing else to do.
I won't say who was that admin because *cough cough it was masquerade cough cough* i'm not that kind of person, but anyway.

I was playing with a friend, like a said, and some guy randomly said something funny on the chat, so i simply replied "Loooool" and got instantly muted by this admin. The funny part is because i was laughing with a guy that was screwing with a donator player. Weaker oppression? Conspiracy theories there.

Seconds after, my friend's keyboard just freaked out and bugged in the chat, so my friend accidentally typed some random letters, like "sjqibnuansf" (not exactly this, it's just an example.)
Guess what? He ALSO got muted by masquerade NOT EVEN BEING ASKED WHY. That admin just saw it and instantly muted him, like me. If he at least wanted to know if it was a bug or just some random spammer, but no, BOOM, mute.

That's what got me mad, he just came, muted and said "afk", like the real jerk admin like.

So, now that my story's been told, all i ask is: please consider choosing better adminstrators.
Like i said, there are many good and helpful admins on Survival server... but many stupid admins too.
I know that this is a common problem on server-community online games and it's a hard task, but please, it's all i ask.

Hello there, although I agreed with you in some points, I believe masquerade1 was only doing his job, flooding gets you a mute and if you felt like it wasn't valid you could make an unmute request, if you can't for some reason you could try and reach out using /helpop after he went back, it's not that hard.

I've said it twice, but i'm saying it once again: this was a case of an admin acting like a jerk, but there are MANY good admins and player-admins out there too. It just got me mad 'cause it was unfair.
But i know it's not happening again!

 

Maybe masq wanna said that he is afk so the people that want an admin woundt spam /helpop or spam "admin help pls or etc." at the chat but he might still help the people that need help and still guard the chat. Like me i do that sometimes iam telling peeps that iam afk but every now and then i go to MC and check if someone needs help or someone break the rules.

xD don't worry, i agree with you with this "admin help pls" thing.
But my worry isn't the "afk" problem... it's mostly about the unfair mute that happened :v

lol i included the afk thingy you told about. And maybe he afks because he will do something important in real life

Well for one, if masquerade muted you unfairly, please don't bring your anger here. I understand your frustration and how mad you would of got about the mute, but please make an unmute request and we will surely reply to it as soon as we have our spare time.

A rule on our forum is to not disrespect, and the thing that has been shown in this thread is the disrespect towards an admin.

An issue that I have to disagree with you on is the "afk" thing. All admins afk because we might be bussy with real life stuff and have to do things. I know for a fact that masquerade is a well and truly good admin and has never did anything wrong.
So what is he afks, he still does his job and helps those who seek an admins attention.

All admins have lifes, we are all normal people and yes if you do want an admins attention chuck us a mail or use /helpop,
we may be helping other people so you just got to wait your turn.

If you thought your mute was incorrect you should of /helpop or chucked masquerade a mail. Im sure he would of replied

I'm going to sum this all up, I know this thread was made a couple days-weeks ago but keep in mind. We don't tolerate disrespect on the server nor the forumz about staff or members.

If your mute was incorrect you should make an unmute request and wait for a reply, pretty easy.
