    Two things @FrozenFever :

First: It's not that the players don't deserve to be muted -a man has a right to rule his house as he sees fit, after all- but that the rule itself is so flawed so as to be pointless. The mutes are valid -yes, the players are breaking the rules- but the rule itself is badly thought out and should not exist at all.

Second: I never said that hackers don't care about getting caught. I said that they don't care about hackusation. There's an important difference.

I got your point from your first post, and your concerns are mine... other than that you don't realize how the pro's and con's are balancing in reality.

And to be honest I could care less what someone has to say about me. The problem is when they follow up on their accusations and report me and some admin -who doesn't know hacks any better than the reporter- bans me for their 'evidence'. I personally would rather know when someone thinks I hack rather than be blind-sided by a false ban!

But I realize what you're saying. The point is I would trade in getting regularly muted -and seeing good honest players be muted for natural reactions- for being occasionally irritated by a hackusater -which I am bound to be anyway.

Do you disagree? Do you think it's better to have perfectly honest players be punished for natural emotions at lost work rather than to have the honest players be momentarily irritated by the occasional hackusation? Or would you not reverse the situation like this?

    STOP!

Thank about that paragraph. Don't stick to your point of view just because it's yours! I don't want to argue with you forever -no matter how much fun it is.

If I may just humbly suggest to the staffs on the thread, players do question rules once in a while. Nothing stays permanent and even rules have to learn to adapt and change as time passes. It's just that as of now, this rule is still serving its purpose well and there is no need to change it. If players question it, address it. Recognize his/her points raised, understand the possible views he/she may be having then try to bring your point across. The last thing to do is to actually plainly tell the player to deal with it because it is the rule. People want explanations. They want to know the reason behind the rules. Give it to them. Send the message across, convince them, let them understand and the issue gets resolved once and for all. Tell them to suck it up and they get further annoyed, leading to a war that never ends. I ain't putting down anyone here, but it's really about settling disputes and misunderstandings.

@pebro13 thank you very much for your useless, pointless feedback! We will see what can be done! Do not respond to a thread such as this unless you are willing to read all of it.

    Yes! Thank you very much!

P.s. aXed hasn't replied yet, so don't be so fast to respond! (I'm just praying he's not been saturated by the toxic propaganda floating in the mod-pond).

@FrozenFever thank you for that! But I think this rule has a fighting chance at it's own destruction! There is a better way to do things. I am certain of it.

    @StoneHeart

As much as there are a lot of rooms for discussion, I actually wouldn't want to carry this on forever too. It's fine to have natural emotions. Then the question would be, is it necessary to show them in chat where it may possibly hurt others? Personally, I wouldn't risk typing anything that could end up hurting others. This of course, differs from person to person. It would then really depend on the chat environment we wish to have, which of course, shall be left in the hands of the staffs.

An interesting point you brought up though, cause if I was being reported for being a hacker I would want to know too. This then, has to do with the way reports are handled. Some admins do talk to and warn hackers beforehand while others don't. Certainly, if players are allowed to hackusate in chat, hackers get a fair chance of defending themselves. Then again, an unban section is there for such cases. I do realize having this section is not a reason for the rule but still, it is in place in an attempt to make up for what the rule lacks in. Anyway, a lot of factors are coming into play, mostly concerning how staffs go about doing things which can be quite sensitive and I probably wouldn't want to touch on it. It has been an interesting discussion with you :) I will be going off soon but all I am going to leave you with is, do not give up trying to help the server :) Hold on to that drive and motivation and the positive changes you wish for will definitely come one day :)

@FrozenFever I think that at the end of the day your position is defined by your wish to 'not say anything potentially hurtful' and my belief 'your opponent deserves the truths of your mind'. I doubt we'll be able to reach any solid agreement on this.

I, however, will not back down from my point! I hope aXed can agree with me.

Thank you for discussing the situation with me: It helped.

P.s. If you can agree with me enough to decide the situation merits aXed's attention, please tag him.

Also, @FrozenFever , concerning one of your earlier points: I once encountered a server where, when you joined, it would pop up a list of the rules in chat every time you logged in until you typed /rules agree. Or maybe warping new players to a box with the rules written on wall -and the only way out being some kind of 'agree to the rules' teleportation mechanism.

In annihilation it might be worthwhile -if this thread ends up going nowhere- to put in a rule that all players with no kit -or just warrior/ archer/ handyman- have to be warned before they're muted (as in, required).

The ideal option for me would be to implement a muting system which was based exclusively off of warns. A warn for a specific broken rule would last so many days, and if you stacked up a certain number then you would be automatically muted -or banned, depending on the situation.

I know of servers with such a system. There are no excuses there.

@xxdogamanxx I don't know why you said that....

What can I say... uselless feedback for a useless thread :)
Btw. I did read the whole thing and aXed will probably say everything like other mods/admins did.

Can't they just filter out the word 'hack' and similar such words, this would solve 1. every raging player getting muted, 2. 'hackers switching off their hacks'. Even if they're was a new code invented which would replace accusing, the hackers would be out of the loop and would remain unaffected and their feelings won't be hurt.

First of all your first couple of opening paragraphs has a couple of spelling mistakes, I suggest next time you make a formal complaint you check it after to see any wrong spelling's.

Second: Why shout out hacker in chat when you know the rules and still do it, I know how frustrating it is to get killed by a hacker with the gears that you made and enchated which took quite some time to made and mine to get lv's to enchant, Everyone at least fought hackers before but most people are mature about it and not type in chat hacker , Quite frankly it's immature of you to do it. I know sometimes people have bad days which you probably had before and just Snap at one point Believe me it always happens to me. Next time you get killed by a hacker Just Keep Calm And Eat A Bambo o_Oo_O

Third: We know that the staff here can't always be online 24/7 likes robots in a car manufacturing line, We have live's too you . Most people probably Don't like mods because we enforce the rules and mute someone like swearing saying f or swearing etc.
But the rules changed overtime, Before f used to be mutable or any swear word's but now its mutable if its intented for someone like f you ..........
Don't take it out on Mods either, Most Staff had made mistakes in the past, Everyone did , Its human nature, But learning not to make that mistake again also makes us as a better species. (Even thought im a panda ;););))

Fourth: Your kinda telling aXed he has 2 choices only either changed the rules or he is one of those server owners who's in it for the money. Remeber that rules changed overtime and he might add new one's , Also aXed is busy to, Running this server isn't a walk in a park,I know that he knows that there is a lot of flaws to the rules and some people don't obey them.

Last and Final point Thank You for Posting your concers for this Lovely Server :D:D:D

Calling hacks on someone just happens, I bet everyone, has called hacks on somebody at least one time. Would you like to be punished just for saying you think somebody hacks?
But why team chat ? If the rule is to prevent hackers from toggling off thier hacks when someone accuse them why isn't it allowed to haccusate even if the guy won't see it ? is it for that reason or is gc just copying Badlion/kohi ? Don't come up with the good old argument it ruins the game for ppl when someone accuse someone its just stupid i really don't care if someone accuses another guy and it doesn't matter if i get falsely accused ( why not take is as a compliment ? ). And if someone comes like a nerd and says "ohhh the hacker can be on ts/skype with someone on ur team" then he has a mental disability.
Also if a guy doesn't care about using hacks he won't care about getting accused too, i bet every hacker is smart enough to know that admins can be in /v and that they don't wait for someone to accuse in chat to check hackers or do they ?

@Nick59 you got some nerve kid; complaining about my spelling mistakes -none of which I found- in a post like that! Either way, you missed my point. You seem to have read more of the discussion and less of the main thread.

@Kris Please read my discussion with FrozenFever if you have any positive reaction towards this post. It might help clarify things.

@Pooperazee the argument you're looking for is "We don't want you getting in the habit of hackusating". Don't quote Marine's posts... he was only paraphrasing the rules.

Seems like you can't get other people's points, we don't miss your point we understand your point but trying to proof you that it's wrong and it shouldn't be removed but you don't listen, you just stuck with your opinion.

Also don't be rude, people can say whatever they want against your suggestion.

    Hey,

    So okay, here we go,

First off, What use does it have, to call someone a hacker? will he stop? no way, and 75 % of the people are accusing wrongly, there is no point, and if you want to do say something about it, use helpop.

You are also banned for disrespecting my staff, which makes me not even want to discuss this with you, or even take this topic serious at all.

but what i understand from your post, we should remove the hackusation rule, the whole chat would contain of ; HACKER HACKER HACKER HACKER ADMIN HACKER, How would that look? to new people, and just to play with in general, it has no use to do, and its just so unnecessary to do.

That's all i'm going to say about it, the rule stays, post locked
