Hey guys,

First of all, I just want to say thank you to all the admins (especially @Tenderman ) for doing all the work that they do on factions and other servers. Thank you.

Also, I hope nobody takes offense to any of this, I mean no offense at all. I am trying to be as nice as I possibly can be while still covering most of the topics.

Okay anyways. To get into what I was saying, I would like to start with the big picture: Making a whole new factions server. I know that this was tried already with Factions Black (which hasn't turned out to be a success), but I think rather than having an "OP raiding server" (factions black) we could have a server that simply implements some of the suggestions that we get from players. I think keeping our regular factions server is a MUST, but I also think that it is time for something new. On this server, global ranks would transfer and you would unlock similar commands/kits/etc with your rank as the factions we have now.
Before I say anything, I have heard some rumors about a whole new Factions Black coming out, and if there is one, please implement some of the suggestions.
Ok. First of all, an "OP Raiding Server" is a bit too far, I think. But we are definitely going in the right direction if we continue on this path. On this new factions server, we should be able to spawn withers in the end (something that is already in normal factions), open chests in enemy territory (I know you guys don't love this one but bear with me), remove special gunpowder and be able to craft TNT with regular gunpowder, remove the special biomes (this really isn't a must, but I prefer regular because it is legitimately hard to get a lot of sand), and please (I'm begging you, PLEASE) work with the lag. I understand that this server is based in the Netherlands and there is a limit to how fast the server can run but c'mon, let's admit it: the lag can be fixed, by A LOT. I live in the USA, and I understand that I can only get a good connection (not great or better), and I am absolutely sure that the majority of the lag I get comes from GuildCraft. And just to be clear: NOT my home wifi, NOT the location of the server v. the location of my house. I don't mean to be so forceful but this really needs to be fixed.
The reason I say that an "OP Raiding Server" is a bit too far is because I don't want to build 100 walls on my base (even though it is very possible) on a server that isn't really MASSIVE and that experiences a lot of lag. If the lag is fixed, it might as well change my mind. But really, if TNT was super cheap, basically anybody can raid a base with a simple 40 stacker leinarcher cannon that they searched up on youtube except without the redstone torches (by the way, I actually don't mind not having redstone torches, there are other ways to make what you can "only make with redstone torches"). TNT prices could be a bit cheaper, but if we removed special gunpowder, I don't think the price that is in shop now would be bad. In fact, I think it would be perfect!
Now, about spawners in shop and buying gapples: Guildcraft is NOT a potpvp server. I'm not claiming that it's a gapple pvp server, but I'm pointing out that there is no cooldown on gapples, which means technically, I could chug them all I want. Therefore, we should be able to buy gold/gapples in shop. Also, we should definitely be able to buy Iron Golem spawners and/or Pigmen spawners. If you want to put Pigmen spawners in shop, please allow us to sell gold. I understand that the economy is farm based, but I think the fact that you can get Iron Golem spawners from crates and NOTHING else makes it too OP.

hey wss. love the idea! I never really got into factions, but in my recent exploration of fac black, I think a rehaul in this manner would be really, really good. if we're gonna be realistic, I can't see aXed rolling out an entire new server. but these suggestions could really improve the new fac black, and build a playerbase stronger than max 35 devoted players. but even then, the map has to be way smaller! everyone hides in corner claims that are 20k+ blocks away from each other.

once again, im not really sure if this as an entire new server will get accepted, but id love to see it happen

 

Fix lag: Already explained by tenderman, and I know you saw the post since you commented on it so I won't get into it.
Withers: Already enabled in Factions Black.
Iron golem and pigman: More snowballing of money, but on an op server, it might be different.
And as for a whole new faction server, just fix black instead. No need for 3 factions servers with one large one, one tiny one, and a new one that probably might be tiny as well.

Instead of coming out with Factions Pink and removing Factions Black, wouldn't it just be easier to change Black?

 

I think it would be fun if we have a costume enchant faction. I just thought that if we have a costume enchant faction server it would be a great idea and more fun to play and probably bring the pvp 60%. Idk That is just my idea.

 

Yeah, that would work too. Just know that I didn't mean make a third server
