»Someone took my name

So pretty much. I got helped ingame from my brothers account. i recieved a message whenever i tried to join a server that said "You tried to join with Worstt but your account is registered with the following capitals: Worstt. Please rejoin with the name: Worstt"

The staff member told me that someone used some sort of cracked server to register in my name?
Im not really sure how that's fair in any way, since its my name and i've never played on this server.
I really just wanna play, so if you can unregister the guy who used the cracked launcher thingy and give me my name back so i can finally play without any issues.

this name is probably registered by someone else so that name is owned by someone else.Try to choose another name or just add one more t at the end like this "Worsttt"

 

Can you connect to any other server besides factions?

 

Hi,
As we are a cracked server anyone can register with any name. Due to this we cannot unregister and give you an existing account as they could have possibly bought items from our shop or have existing progress in game. Due to this and a few more things unregistering the existing user is not possible nor fair to them. To be able to play on GuildCraft I suggest using a cracked launcher yourself, or changing your username. You just cannot use the existing account.

What is the positive site of being a "cracked server"? I just feel like it's kinda dumb that a user like me is unable to register cause someone else took my name? I think its completely fair that if you decide to use another user's username. You should be aware that it could be unregistered since there is a user with an existing username like that. And isn't there a possible way for you to check if the user registered in my name has purchased anything or has any progress / last seen online / overall playing time?

The advantage is that people who don't pay for Minecraft can still play on a server.

Your alternative is to simply not play here.
