Hello everyone, When adding upgrades we knew the game would become harder to balance, so to address this issue i'll let you give feedback about general balance on this thread. We don't promise changes as people may have different opinions on balance aspects of the game but it will be useful for us to know if we have to change current kits / upgrades and how to do it. To make it easier for us i'll leave a format, you can however discuss with other players. Example: Balance problem: Fully upgraded civilian is too op Explanation: Getting Sharpness I and fire aspect I lets civilians rush early and farm enemy civilians on their bases, killing a fully upgraded civilian in Phase I is almost impossible because of its upgraded gear. Suggested change (optional): I think you should nerf the last upgrades so Civilian's sword isn't Sharp I fire aspect I, i think it should be just knockback I or give it some special effect or special ability. You can also make it so it receives +2 extra xp instead of +1.
#1) Balance Problem: Lag related deaths due to Ions Explanation: When Ions capture laggy players (like me), and when the obsidian cage despawns, I often lag when being teleported around; giving the Ion-enemy a massive advantage to kill me. Suggested Change: Make us captured players spawn a bit away from the Enemy-Ion that captured us in the first place. (50 blocks or so. You may say, that the captured player could easily run away... well spawn the player back in the game with slowness II for 4-5 seconds) #2) Balance Problem: Upgraded Civ Kit Too OP Explanation: Fire Aspect is a major problem with soulbound kits of high level civilians. Prevents lower-level civilians to escape & its impossible to win in a 1v1; also considering the fact that people join teams with more well-known players (which are obviously experienced and have better kits), there is often a team dis-balance. One team may be full of Lvl 7 Civs, while other with Lvl 1-3 Civs. Very unfair. Suggested Change: Replace Fire Aspect with Knockback I.
Balance problem: Some upgrades are way too expensive... Explanation: Take Ninja for example. The first upgrade was 10k, but the second took a massive jump to 25k. Now I can undrestand balancing and how doing that can make people stay interested in Annihilation for longer periods, but if you think about players with X2 and no multipliers, getting that amount of XP JUST for an upgrade is.... Simply not worth it, I maybe wrong though. Maybe you meant it to be an end game thing where you start upgrading kits, not sure, Suggested change (optional): Make upgrades well.... If I say cheaper it'd make people with X8 and X5 get all upgrades in one day ( Wish I was exaggerating ), Maybe make the prices cheaper but make a cooldown for upgrading? ''You're too tired of training and thus can not upgrade until <Put amount of time here>. And maybe give that to only people with multipliers. To balance the game ( I'ù so getting hate for this... )
Balance problem: Ion provides are huge advantage to the enemy to kill/gank OP/Non-OP players very easily. Explanation: They simply ion(catch) an iron/dia guy and along with their teammates just hit spam waiting for the enemy to come back. Suggested change (optional): Maybe invincibility for 2-3 seconds could help the person at least.
Balance Problem: I'm bad Explanation: I can't click right click and left click at the same time in a short period in anni. Anni is a very hard game, even for good PvPers like me. Suggested changes: Teach me senpai *pls no ban from forums ily*
Balance problem: Make teams balanced. Explanation: Teams are insanely imbalanced. People with good kits will join one team and farm everyone else.You cant rush/farm them at all. Suggested Change: Remove the team system so joining teams is random.Add a party system instead so ur party (max 3 players) can join together in a single team. Number 2 Balance problem: Hit reg is still not fixed. Explanation:Basically you cant 2v1 anyone unless they're low.Also people with better ping than u are really hard to kill. Suggested Change: Idk how this stuff works but hopefully jono can fix it
yas, i suggested the random team thing at some point but idk if anyone saw it, makes anni games retardedly unfair with joining rn
Balance problem: civilian is really op because of the protection 1 armor and the sharpness 1 and fire aspect 1 Explanation: the problem is that when you kill an upgraded civilian it keeps coming back with almost an op gear it like killing an iron guy and then he respawns with the same iron armor Suggested change: I get the idea of giving civilian op upgrades you want them to be able to defend themselves against farmers and I really like the idea but its too op since they will have the op sword everywhere with them so I was thinking that it would be better if you change it so the sharpness, fire aspect, and the enchanted armor is only there when the civilian is in the nexus or near it so they can defend against farmers and as soon as they leave nexus the enchants vanish and they will have unenchanted iron sword and armor.

didn't know my suggestions 'is' bad. sorry. I felt that Ion kit basically makes any player with 250ms+ of Ping, super vulnerable to an unavoidable death.
Balance Problem: Scorpio is OP Explanation: 1) Upgraded scorps set the hooked enemy on fire, doing damage and blocking their line of sight. This means that scorped players may die even before they find the scorpio and land a hit on them. 2) Scorps can hook players at mid from their base on some mini anni maps. Scorps can also hook diamond miners straight to their base where a bunch of hungry teammates are ready to gank. Suggested change: 1) Make the upgrade do x damage instead of fire, or simply remove it 2) Make scorp hooks easier to dodge/avoid

1. Vampire is too op As a vampire you will win basically any challenger or group of people that tries to kill you. Vampires should have weakness I in the day. 2. Dryad's special is too op While using the stunning root you can use it on a leather and spam click and they will die. They literally have a zero chance to live unless they have significantly better gear than you. Dryad's should have weakness III for 2 seconds after they use the stunning root. 3. Maxed archer does too much damage. Not sure the exact amount of damage maxed archer does but it is insane Archer's bow should be punch I not power I (it already gets a +1 damage increase with all bows) 4. Handyman is too op A good team can get 130+ nexus health which is too much. The 50% chance to heal your nexus and the chance to heal it twice is too much. 5. Viper is too op It jumps too far and is like a more useful jumper, plus it does insane damage on the first hit to a poisoned for. Make ability cool down 15s Make first hit after damaging a foe 1.25x damage (instead of 1.5) Have the jump be reduced by 3 blocks. Change both percentages to 35% (base and 1st upgrade) i would say get rid of scouts durability loss but i would get killed if i said it
I agree with your second point. As to your first point, I completely disagree because the whole point of ion kit (IMO) is to sneak behind the player after you ionize them to hit them a couple of times before they realize which direction the hits are coming from.
Huh what does my ion suggestion have to do with dryad? They should buff dryad though. Ion and dryad are barely used.
