I've posted about this before on forums and I thought it was resolved but turns out i was just getting online at the right times when the spikes weren't happening. So my problem is I live in NA, East Coast and for about 12 hours out of the day my ping just spikes from 400-1k and does not go back down. Before you say anything about my internet, that is NOT the issue. I get consistent 20ms playing League and any other game or MC server. I've tried both ethernet cable and wifi and neither change a thing. GC is the ONLY place that I get these spikes, and it happens for someone that lives in the same city as me as well. Others that I have talked to tell me its latency and there's not much that can be done, but there's got to be something... I'm tired of dealing with ping spikes to the point that I cant even place a block, so please is there anything that can be done? Obviously an NA server would be ideal, but that's not likely due to the fact that aXed wouldn't use the money on something only some would use :/ @aXed pls sir --- Double Post Merged, Apr 16, 2019, Original Post Date: Apr 14, 2019 --- Bump. This is the most annoying thing I've ever encountered and it's somehow worse. I can't get on without having at least 500 ping...
I live in Missouri in the US. Witthhh a shitty internet connection but I'm still getting decent ping. There's nothing that can be done to help you besides getting a na host and that's not possible atm
I use 1.8.9 You said "atm" so does that mean there's a chance that it can be done eventually? I understand that it isn't the server it's latency and I'm looking for a way to resolve that. I get 50ms or below on everywhere else.
Yeah, that's what I heard :/ it just sucks kind of a lot being that I try to be active but the lag is unplayable when it gets up to 1k ms... It makes the issue even worse that it's nobody's fault except awful latency mechanics, and the only resolution for me and the one other person I know in my area that plays GC is for the server to purchase an entire NA address.
