Kinda expected this from a mile away. Not much else to say. Just was expected. It was like this and it kind of always will be. So much else to do eh? Hire a sysa, at least listen to the community? But broken promises are all that's left on the table. And that also doesn't justify his neglect towards the community, it's kind of pointless to defend the margins of him but the overall way he's operating the server is killing it lawl. Stop justifying his actions, there are so much other things he has to fix - the answers are there but he doesn't take them. I'm starting to think it's intentional. It's a lost cause.
Huh I predicted it 3 years ago when Asy banned me for hacking while 1v1ing him, how aXed is such a coward to face his issues.(Asy is my global admin I cant prove him wrong,WHAT WILL THE SERVER THING!?).Never played GC afterwards & am happy that guy is perm banned. But the server deserves this all just cause of its neglecting, cover hiding coward owner Ban me from the forums IDGAF @aXed F u & Ur Server.PUBG ROCKS!
I think this post can be surmised into a severe lack of communication from the server owner, and not enough devolution of responsibility to stakeholders (head admins, admins). I can understand the last part, it's difficult to find talented, capable people, especially on a cracked server, quickly becoming an endangered species in the minecraft world. The former however, I cannot understand. I will not presume whether he is sick and unable to keep people in the loop, or just completely disinterested in GC apart from the passive income it provides him with, however when you stay silent for too long, let unpaid volunteers clean up after issues and don't properly communicate the challenges faced in updates and improvements, you are going to end up with an inactive, angry, disinterested and y playerbase. It's time to set some community expectations and start addressing some of these issues. We barely get 300+ players online at any point, these people are here because they love GC, if you want to leverage their dedication and talent to improve playernumbers and the state of the server, you cannot sit idly by.
Thanks to everyone who left feedback on this post. It's honestly now or never for Guildcraft. We really need to change ourselves severely if we're looking to succeed.
Adding to that, they're neglecting skilled people who are willing to help based on their past, which is an act of idiocy, GuildCraft needs more support now then ever before, sure you can't let anyone into the development team but simply not giving someone a chance because he/she gives you bad vibes is beyond me.
I agree with this post and really a few of us on the head team are really trying to get things to change. Then again there's only so much we can do with what we have A lot of these things need to go through axed
Are you crazy? Why do we need to change? We can be the best community ever and still not have the "success we're looking for" because of this idiot @aXed
