Ok, gonna be pretty straight up here. Way too many people in the past few days have joined these forums and posted on almost every single thing they could to get the needed 30 posts to apply for mod. This might have been already suggested, but this mess needs to stop in an instant, because soon enough the entire community will apply for mod and the number of mods will be double the number of regular players (well not really double, but there are chances it could be higher at some point in the future). I'm suggesting to remove this requirement completely, and lengthen the forum activity requirement to at least a month, if not more, and in that month encourage players who want to get mod to keep reporting chat offenders/ hackers (that are not dealt with already) , and to keep reporting any bugs they could find on the server (that aren't fixed) if they wish to get it, so they can see who cares for the actual server, and who cares only for the rank. With this improperly thought requirement of having at least 30 posts to apply for mod, almost every single newcomer to GuildCraft would do this, as thinking that if they are mod they are somewhat of a "cool" guy. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible. @aXed Thanks for taking your time to read this, ~ Tiger, out
Even if they get 30 posts they most likely wont get mod anyway. I think that heads should look at the activity in their forums profile to see if they post-farmed and also they should check if they just got 30 posts and applied for mod straight away. Babyboy <3
You don't get the point of this thread. From my suggestion, to apply for mod you need to have at least 1 month of forum activity while constantly reporting people/bugs and making suggestions. I'm not crazy to suggest to let a new person who just joined the forums have the ability to instantly apply for mod.
I stopped reading ur post when i reached the end of the second sentence xD i understand your point now. +1
Do you really think aXed would look at this and remove it? We don't even have a forum dev I highly doubt it'll ever get changed, when was the last time you see aXed accept a suggestion?
Was it actually implemented? He just said it was good ideas, I asked when was the last time he accepted a suggestion. And what about suggestions about the staff
around 3 weeks ago on Mod and Admin forum And yes, I agree with this suggestion, if someone wants to apply for Mod they'll just farm the posts, we might as well save them some time. It has gotten to the point where people make reports of players that have already been dealt with when there are staff members online, just for the sake of the post count
Then he's doing a terrible job on letting members know anything if he's accepts Mod and Admin suggestions, we haven't seen him implement a feature or suggestion a member has said in forever, I can't even remember the last time. The chances of this being accepted is so low, there's no point in even suggesting anymore
If you don't want to make suggestions anymore, do not encourage other people to stop making suggestions. Attitude is crucial in the current state of the server, and a pessimistic one like yours really doesn't help at all...
ur acting like everyone who gets to 30 posts is insta promoted, there are a lot of staff true, but only like 2-3 per server online at the same time max. The players base still greatly outnumbers staff. --- Double Post Merged, Nov 13, 2018, Original Post Date: Nov 13, 2018 --- cause he isnt admin anymore
