Hey all, Shooter here I have an idea for the Warzone for the next reset, I hope you can relate to what i'm about to say (DL; DR down below!) History on Warzone (From my perspective) I was a very active member when obsidian wasn't breakable yet, and to be honest, i miss those days. Raiding might be fun for the ones who do it (I don't raid, so I can't give my opinion on it). But many resets ago, the warzone was so pretty, I remeber with Beastmode we made an entire "fighting arena" with grass, trees etc. and to top it all off, we had a HUGE head collection to "show off haha". Also the "Lane Warzone" was a cool addition, if you don't know what i mean, a link will be on the bottom of this thread. The grid was also a cool introduction, but I didn't like as much as the "Lane Warzone". Warzone Now Well, go and take a look for yourself, it's ugly and useless. Warzone in the Future (?) The idea I have for the warzone in possibly the next warzone would be as follows: Make obsidian unbreakable for X chunks away from the warzone (possibily 2 or 3 chunks MAX) To counter Basebuilding, Set a maximum amount of chests, furnaces .... (all possible containers) in those chunks (maybe 4-6 containers per chunk) possibly re-introduce the "Lane Warzone" to make the economy on PVP bases a thing again (or possibly a new idea) That's my idea, I think this is pretty clear, if not, i can make a video/image on it to make it a visual thing. Possible Flaws with this idea People build bases inside of the PVP base. SOLUTION: Maximum of containers per chunk People make spawners/ XP grinders in those bases. SOLUTION: Don't allow placement of spawners in the bases People stack valueable blocks on the top/bottom of the base. SOLUTION: set a maximum value per chunk, as long as it doesn't interfere with building a PVP base ofcourse! Another "flaw" that i could think of could be the Plugin/coding that has to be done. I have no experience with coding what so ever, but I don't think it's a simple thing to do (if any coder can tell me if it's possible or not, it would be appreciated!). I hope some of you can relate with what i've said. As I don't think a lot of people still PVP, and this could be a gateway to fix some of it, and possibly bring back PVP'ers who only want to PVP and not worry about having their PVP base destroyed every other day.
