Ten comics. Already, time is a funny thing, don’t you reckon? Anyways this is part ten, of my comic series. In part nine aXed got told off by Megan, for sending out rookies that could barely defend themselves. Let’s see what aXed does this comic... With wind howling outside of aXed’s balcony within his fortress, he stands there, almost unconscious, thinking about his mistake to risk everyone’s life just to find me. After one long sigh he turned to face his door. He walks into the empty hallway, finding Megan wondering around. Megan didn’t forget what happened in their last encounter. aXed: Megan. You were right. Megan: Pardon? aXed: It was a terrible decision to defend my homeland from PyroKnight just by sending rookies after him. We need someone more... similar to him. Megan didn’t like what she heard. ‘Similar to PyroKnight’. Thoughts are rushing in, in and out. She’s thinking, ‘Where we would we find someone like that’ or ‘What if that “similar” person betrays us’. Megan: What’re you talking about... sir? aXed: PyroKnight wasn’t the only knight around you know? Ever heard of King Arthur and the knights of the round table? Megan: Yes. I’m quite familiar with a book. aXed: Now now, this is similar to the book, there are knight representing elements. PyroKnight is one of them, others are AquaKnight, MechaKnight, LightKnight, DarkKnight. But... there are two knights who were dismissed from their little group. Boys... come in. In the long hallway doors stand two knight like figures similar to me, except one is more bulkier and wields an axe, the other is more thin and narrow, he wields a hammer. aXed: Megan... I’d like you to meet, ThunderKnight and TerraKnight. Meanwhile in the forest... Kocoski was trying to get more stories out of me, asking me if I knew more about the Dark Thought incident. Kocoski: So... How big was Dark Thought? Did you really throw him in the volcano? Did he burn? Who was the guy you were with? PyroKnight: Boy... enough questions. Kocoski looked a bit glum, all he wanted was one story. So I told him about the Knights of the round table and why I left. PyroKnight: Boy... Let me tell you something that happened before I fought Dark Thought, it started nearly 1500 years ago, I was one of the eight knights, served to a powerful king. One day I obtained Excalibur, through all my tough efforts, through all my ups and downs, I was the strongest of the knights. However TerraKnight and ThunderKnight, the Two brothers did not approve, they believed that sword should’ve been theirs, but they killed for selfish desires, not to protect. They refused our reasons, no matter how hard we tried, they always looked the other way. So they were dismissed, the both of them fled from our grounds, never to return. And that’s what happened. Kocoski: Wow... You became one of the strongest knights and... your brothers... PyroKnight: They were not my brothers, nor enemies. Kocoski: Do you ever think you’ll see them again? PyroKnight: I’m doing my best to keep it that. Kocoski: Look! A temple. Some say giants live there. PyroKnight: Giants? Kocoski: Yeah. The giant that controls the flow of time, and the giant that controls the flow of space. PyroKnight: Will they get in our way? Kocoski: Hopefully not. There’s only one in each temple. PyroKnight: Good, less blood. Kocoski: Is slaughter your only answer? PyroKnight: Only when necessary. Back to aXed’s fortress, stood aXed, Megan and the two knight brothers, they were quiet, too quiet, so quiet you could hear the sound of wind pass through. aXed: Hello, ThunderKnight and TerraKnight. I heard you are the finest hunters in the Realm. ThunderKnight: What’s it to you old man? aXed: I was wondering if you could hunt down PyroKnight for me. TerraKnight: PyroKnight... we hadn’t heard from him for years. ThunderKnight: Can you give me and this half-wit sometime to sort this out? The brothers walk over to the corner of the room where Megan and aXed couldn’t here. ThunderKnight: Listen to me you big idiot, don’t stuff this up. This our chance for revenge, I should’ve gotten that sword, not this... this worthless piece of stone. I’ll kill him, I’ll kill him! TerraKnight: But I like my axe. ThunderKnight: Don’t... stuff.... this... up. The duo walk back over to aXed and Megan. TerraKnight: aXed, we accept your offer. But what’s in it for us? aXed: I couldn’t help but overheard you wanted PyroKnight sword, is that not correct? The brothers looked at each other, they nodded and shook aXed’s hand. ThunderKnight: We won’t fail you. To be continued...
