»God apples

Hello. I have a quick question : I know that since the MC version 1.9 you can no longer craft god apples (enchanted golden apples). But if I switch to 1.8 and I have gold blocks and apples can I craft them ? And if I can craft them, is that "server legal" ?

It depends entirely on the server. Spigot and Paper from 1.9+ didn’t allow crafting god apples, but some servers have a plugin or gamerule to allow it. So, if the actual server running is 1.8, you can craft them with a 1.8 client, or if it’s 1.9+ with a plugin, you can craft them in any client.

The only thing you can do is try. If it works, it’s allowed. If the staff on that server doesn’t want you to craft them, they’ll need to remove the plugin or gamerule allowing it.

How can you know that? have you tried ?

 

It's clearly disable if the server is 1.9x unless there is a plugin they lets you create golden apples and such.. it's common sense

 

Well it's not, lol. The server isn't 1.9.x
The current version of the server is either 1.11.2 or 1.12, I can't remember. But you can play on it for 1.8 to 1.12.2

 

It's 1.9x if you can join.. 1.9 is when they took away the golden apples and you can join beyond that verison

I won't explain since you won't understand, you legit don't understand you can't craft it, use ur common knowledge

 

Here is the thing
Yesterday I logged on the server on the 1.8.4 version and I had 15 gold blocks so I could only craft 1 enchanted gapple. AND I DID ! IT WORKED ! XD
So while you are all smart and wise and acting like "I won't explain to you anyways cause you can't understand" I already crafted the apple and I ate it in warp pvp in 1.11.2 take that !
