Listen to me, before disliking right away. As the title states, I want to suggest the staff to unban everyone from GC. This may seem like the most useless thread in history, but try to understand my point. I know there are tons of hackers in GC, and minecraft in general. But we all know that the server is facing a MAJOR downfall in the player count, and recently even the "staff" count. Now if you unban everyone and give them a second chance, though there might be a little mess in the server, we always have admins to ban people that cause trouble and even more people that are willing to apply for staff and help out. There are many things we can do at this point, this suggestion being a major one of them. Please agree with me & it's possible this suggestion will prove to be a little bit of aid to the server. For everyone who thinks I'm being selfish & this suggestion is just to get myself unbanned, I request the staff that if this even gets implemented, I shall not be unbanned. Thanks for reading, have a nice day. @aXed @Rabascm
@Wizare even if gc gives them the second change, they might just continue to hack and get banned again.:C
No hes right they will remember they got banned in a big server like this and they gave them a second chance so they will not hack so please do it
Like I said in the thread, they might hack, but let's be real. There's absolutely no denying the fact that there are already one to many hackers too deal with, and if they'll just hack, they'll probably just get mixed up in the hackers and get banned again. But at least the ones who aren't passionate about hacking anymore (since most were banned ages ago) might not hack and actually be a good addition to the server, and help it grow.
This has been suggested many times. The discussion is always the same. One side wants to increase player count, the other side says they’ll just hack again. It’s not gonna happen.
Yes, I agree banning players affects the player count, but do you really think guildcraft perm banned thousands of players and this is cause of the downfall?
Just look at the player count and see for yourself. If it's a risk to have everyone back, then be it. At least they will be playing here. At this point, GC should be willing to take any risk possible. If they'll hack, the admins aren't going anywhere and there are already hackers that are being dealt with so it wouldn't make a gigantic difference and surprise everyone if even all of them started hacking again. And that isn't even the case because we don't even know for sure that they won't change. We just need to take a risk at least after 5 years, if not every once in a while. --- Double Post Merged, Sep 28, 2017, Original Post Date: Sep 28, 2017 --- It's obviously not even the side cause of the downfall. I'm just saying it would be good at least give it a chance and at this point, see if anything at all helps, because there's no point not taking risks and worrying for something that (I'm sorry) but in this state, isn't even worth protecting.
I don't know what else to say. Trust me, we will damage our playercount even more if we unban more then 500 hackers lmao. Besides that times change, one of the most senseless threads ive ever seen in my life. Image that you tell your school to graduate every1 it doesn't work like that.
There's no point arguing if you'll just make up your mind. I'm not in a position to make any differences or take decisions about the server. You people are, but you'll just forget about the situation and not take any steps to do something about it. At least the people who do want it to get better, you can listen to them. Let's forget about this suggestion, ok. Still, when was the last time you guys actually listened to the players, or their suggestions? I don't need you to trust me and make decisions upon my suggestions. But please at least do something.
No. Do you remember what happened last time an attempt to unban everyone was made? For starters, kriscapelle and xandervanv were unbanned. We all know how that turned out. Many of the unbanned players were banned again due to their behavior and actions.
