Hello everyone! I suggest the GuildCraft staff team to make a new /tpa plugin to solve tp-killing. I mean that you should add a feature that says: "That player is in a PvP area, To CONFIRM teleportation, Please type /tpconfirm ." I wish you do that Thanks.
Would be awesome, tho I'm not sure how tp-kills on islands may be solved.. Maybe tping to a player while the player is above lava shouldn't be allowed?
The problem here is the fact that simply implementing that feature is not as easy as it might sound, and the reason is that most of the plugins GC uses are not made by GC themselves. I am unsure whether the ct/pvp area plugin is also the same plugin for tpa, if that is not the case then simply implementing this feature would require either the plugin to be manually updated by one of the current devs (and making it compatible with the other plugin(s)) or a version which has this feature would need to be available, which I predict is not very likely. -Shadoe
This guy gets it! Still, I will look into it since TP killing is a problem in survival and skyblock. Even if I can't work with the other plugins that handle pvp regions, it'd probably be easy enough to do something like an immunity to damage and unable to deal damage for 10-15 seconds after you tp.
That would end tpa-killing so If we have 15 seconds protection after tp, we can go out If they player is tp killing by /home or something.
indeed a nice idea to stop it, however the possibility of players somehow abusing it should be looked into as well as the exact time of immunity after the tp. This should also only work to the player who is teleporting to the other player (even though that should be easily implemented) to avoid making someone in pvp immune when an admin teleports to them for example. -Shadoe
Its a hard plugin to make byt I say fix pvp tpa were you do /tpaccept 2x and writing in red to clearly show that there in pvp area @Elias-gaming tpconfirm would take to long because humnas these days are to lazy to do that that's my opinon --- Double Post Merged, Sep 15, 2017, Original Post Date: Sep 15, 2017 --- but they could still trap you on survival
implementing a plugin which after you tp grants you immunity shouldn't be very hard to combine with the coexisting plugins. about this i don't really have a solution as i don't play survival myself and thus haven't dealt with this before
