»How to make servers?

I am a avid coder and I have been thinking of coding minecraft server for a project. Could any of the people who code in GC help me out? I am interested in knowing how to develop new features for factions and how exactly does one go about learning to code for minecraft.

To answer this post:
You can start with creating a Github page, and experimenting with different styles plugins.
Think about. Databases, Graphics/Animations, Games, Instances etc.

 

I want to know what programming languages would I need to learn to start making plugins. Currently I know java, html, a bit of css. Could you redirect me to the books/websites which you used to make plugins. Ty for replying

wut this supposed to mean. Just coz some people are scammers in my country, doesnt mean all of us are scammers.

 

He should start with events, more simple.
He better try to know how Spigot works, then try to make his own software by implementing MC's open-source server.

 

He didn't mean that most people from India are scammers, he mean that most people in India are very, very smart in coding and programming applications.

Well that's a fact, as far as I know that India is well known for the art of programming and coding.

its ok should have made it more clear

 

all plugins are javascript based best to use java eclipse and a c++ reader for any yml files you need for config on your plugin.
so brush up on reading a few javascript textbooks and good luck.
