Hello

Been a while since I've made one of these but I hate to see my favourite server, Survival Games , dying.

For those of you that don't know, SG used to be the most popular minigame on GuildCraft. Games filled up instantly and people waited for 10minutes straight to join a game. The game wasn't even perfect. But now the amount of buggs have made the game a dead server.

So here are some suggestions for its revival, I'm sure most of us want to see it thriving again.


1. Remove the Solo/ Team mode.

Nobody even enforced these rules and in my opinion, they're pretty pointless, all they manage to do is divide the community and make the games slower in terms of filling up.
I'm fairly sure GuildCraft players can take out some teams of 2 occasionaly

2. Add a team limit (Maximum 2)

While teaming with a buddy is always fun, forming teams of 3, 4 or even 5 people makes the game tiring and unpleasant. One can't simply take out a team of 3 or 4 , it's basically impossible and it grants free wins for the ones forming the teams, especially if one of them is trying to reach the leaderboards.

3. Add ratings.

Survival Games has always been a competitive gamemode, since their beggining on MCSG , people grinded their stats all day and cared about the win a lot. The minecraft community now has turned into a PvP hungry community with people trying to be acclaimed as the best at what they do. Ratings will bring back that competitive feel to the game, forcing players to stay on the server for a longer amount of time.

Either the ratings are MMR or ELO, they're more than welcome

4. Kits.

Nobody wants to start playing and 2 minutes into the game, get destroyed by a guy with diamond stuff and full iron. My suggestion for those is ONLY DONOR KITS, but not those OverPowered ones ( for example a sharpness 2 diamond sword as it used to be).
A very good kit option would be a kit that gives a golden apple, a diamond and an iron ingot. Only donor kits would be a great way for the server to make some money out of this project but also adding back the balance in the gamemode.

5. Deathmatch.

The current deathmatch is broken, anyone can just run away from the arena making the game a Tie, which really doesn't please the person who could've potentially won. Adding the known lightning plugin could be difficult so I suggest our Lovely BUILD TEAM to get to work and create a couple of deathmatch arenas

Quick Note: I will be randomly shouting on Practice </server sg everyone>, feel free to join me, some servers are currently working, let's not give up and wait for the server to be updated

- Bring back zone85 and highway
- Remove all other maps
- Bring back the old lobbies

I agree. I used to come to GC before just to play Survival Games (it's my first server here in GC). Please give Survival Games more life. I miss it so much.

 

its really sad, and now it doesn't even exist anymore, very few servers still have sg, but they r all very flawed, im not saying that the gc one was perfect, but it was the closest to that, mcgamer closes and everyone follows, its a real dissapointment, please do smth, please

I joined Minecraft for sg lol maybe having a more PvP based sg would be better with pots and diamond gear.

 

this is so tru +1 from me i want it back please i know the reason for it for been taken down was beacuse no one played it but putting it back will be very good and growing for the server
