I really should've made this post before I resigned but I never had time to, I'm on my study break now so here's the idea I came up with a few months ago which I never posted. Forum Post Ratings: These are ratings which someone can receive in whatever they post, but only on a few sub-forums locate on the GuildCraft forums. Where should they be added? I never knew beforehand that casual members do not have access to the ratings within the sub-forums of "Tutorials" and "Introductions and Farewells" - I believe this should be added within these forums, as I deem it to be 'more appropriate' regarding the ratings of 'Friendly', 'Funny', 'Like' and the majority of the rest. I believe only Mod+ have the availability to rate on the Introductions and Farewells sub-forum, no-one else. I also believe they should be added within Tutorials, so players may know where they are going well or wrong in, and know where they can improve in whenever they make a new Tutorial. This could also boost some people's attitudes within the forums. Evidence: Where should they be removed? I honestly find it ridiculously pointless to have ratings on the "Report a Player" sub-forum. They are threads for reporting offenders on the server, nothing else. This could also be said for the "Unban/Unmute Appeal" sub-forum too. So why am I making a suggestion about it? Honestly, I am bored and I started roaming through the forums again, and after reading some forum threads (and drinking bleach) I wanted to rate a tutorial useful and give a 'Friendly' rating on a Farewell, yet I couldn't. Many people would find this suggestion pointless and un-needed, but I thought that it could be appropriate. Please leave your opinions below, I'd like to hear them about this - even though this could be deemed useless. - camEEla_cabeYo
I'm totally agreeing with you! I'm going to tag @Rabascm to tweak some options with the ratings, as you said Tutorials don't have any ratings available.
