»New Mute system is to harsh: 25th mutes = perm ban!

hi there i think it is simply unfair to ban people for what they type in chat well unless its something like advertising.

i believe that its not words that should be judged on but on a person actions and what they do in game. As i know a lot of good players that loyal to this server and sometimes they just loose their cool in the chat.

i know 2-4 hour mutes don't count but it is very easy to get more than that. for example your mining some gear in annihilation and you get rushed and killed. you loose your cool and type 'f off player' then you get a 12 hour mute. shouldn't that be punishment enough?

if this rule cant be changed at least lower the punishments. as a perm ban for 25 mutes is simple just cruel. i have many friends with over that amount and i would hate to see them go.
for example maybe lower mute charges from 10 day ban to 1-3 day ban. think about it this way most people get home from school and all they want to do is play guildcraft as they are probably cracked players. i think the 25 mute perm ban should be demolished and be changed to 5 hour + mute = 1 day ban when you have over 30 mutes. in my opinion this is still very cruel but it is better than perm ban.

Guildcraft could also lose many players. many people have friends and when their friend gets banned obviously if your a good friend you would leave guildcraft and play with them right? so just think about all the players with over 25 mutes that will get banned and the amount of friends they may have.

in conclusion please do something about this rule.

Perm mute instead of perm ban as they aren't affecting gameplay by swearing.

I disagree with you, because I think many people didn't read the rule properly. It clearly says that small mutes (Spam/Caps/Flood etc) don't count, only heavy mutes. I'm sure only a few people will have 20x heavy mutes such as Swearing. We added this rule since we cannot let people just keep on harassing the server, so it will make them think more what they're writing. In overall we just want to punish people who aren't listening after a few times.

Just be respectful and mature and you won't be muted nor banned . Hackers are destroying the game and that's why they get banned. It is the same about those toxic guys that get muted like every few days.. We don't want to keep our server only from players using hacks. We want to keep the server safe from every single player that is not following our rules. We don't tolerate hackers, but we don't tolerate inappropriate and toxic behavior as well. It's simple .

It wouldn't make sense anymore to play on the server because multiplayer has a big connection with communication also it will be hard for the player when playing team-based games such as Annihilation.

Giving them access to /msg would make it again a problem since they can swear/abuse it. Tl,dr: Just read the rules and watch out what you're saying and you're fine.

I have like 23 mutes idk how many are heavy.
And does accusing count as heavy, cuz a lot of peeps wouldnt accuse if admins came onto anni regularly, i only see rfikee on

I completely agree with you. Players can keep their cool, but times of raging are already part of gaming. Gaming does not consist only of good times, but it also contains bad times, some of these are when we completely lose our temper. So instead of shouting in your own room and smashing your pc, you just release your stress on the chat (which is more subtle btw) rather than your parents or younger siblings hearing your swears. Please understand your players because some of us have a really bad family life and gaming is our oasis where we can experience happiness. We play to have fun, we play honestly. Dont punish us with a perm ban with what we just said, dont give us the same punishment of the hackers who are just there to mess with other people. (im kimda lost with my thought here). So yeah, back to the swearing, the censorship is already enough ffs. Kids wont be able to know what the asterisks contain. And also, it was said by a staff (or idk, vague memory) that they dont allow swearing because kids might learn swearing themselves, omg guildcraft chat is not the only thing those kids see the whole day. They have access to the WHOLE INTERNET wherein you can lean many bad things btw. Guildcraft chat is a nuissance to their learnings. I even know someone in guildcraft that I also know in facebook and hes 12 years old (im 17), he even knows almost everything about the sexual things in the world. 12 year olds are not innocent anymore, they already have the brain power to learn what they want, wether its good or not. (k im already off topic ill end it now)
So hopefully please bear with your players. Guildcraft is one of the top cracked servers, please treat them nicely and not like how parents treat them (im a srtict way). Please dont be so strict with your rules.
