»How to avoid any payment issues. [requires your credit/debit card info]

Hello everybody,
I've noticed a lot of people have problems when it comes to checking out with the Guildcraft shop. This tutorial will help you avoid confusion and doubt, and easily buy what you want.

First and foremost, people think just because they don't have 'euros' in their country, they can't buy things. What people need to understand is; they're just currencies. Just a way of different people putting a value on the product. When you buy something online, you needn't worry about not having another country's currency. Because the bank that's affiliated with your credit/debit card will automatically convert currencies and make sure you pay the right amount in your currency. What you pay won't be much less or more.

Therefore, just because your country has a different currency, don't worry about choosing one of the default currencies available in the shop. Your banks handle that.

Secondly, I'm not an expert on all these payment methods, but I have one work-around that can avoid all these problems about payment issues. All you literally need is your credit/debit card in front of you (to get the info) or its information saved somewhere. You don't need PayPal, PayGol, Paymentwall or literally anything else, or any knowledge of it.

Just follow these steps:

1) Just select the item(s) you want to buy.

2) Add them to cart.

3) Under Payment Method, Choose Paypal (even though you don't need to know squat about PayPal, or even have an account).

4) Fill in all the details, i.e. your name, address and your e-mail.Agree to the terms and continue.



5) You will be redirected to the PayPal website, to sign in. Forget all this. Next to the logo you see the shopping cart. Click that arrow and make sure for one final time that your username and price is correct.

6) Scroll down and you can see "Pay with Debit or Credit Card". Click that.



7) Fill in all your details. The credit card details and e-mail must ALWAYS be legit. The address is not important, and need not be legit. But enter an address close to you, if you don't know these details.

8) Hit 'Pay now'




9) Click 'Pay with your currency'




10) And voila! You're done Hassle-free and very easy. You may "Return to mechant" , which means come back to the GC shop and you should receive your items in-game.

POINTERS/TIPS:

- I have never tried buying something from the store while NOT being in-game. I've always been in-game while buying my items from the store. I do not know whether this affects anything, but I do recommend staying in-game while buying something.

P.S. - This is for the current shop's design. Rabascm is working on a new one. Despite that, steps after #4 will be the same as the PayPal website ain't going anywhere!

I Don't have Paypal nor debit card! But i want to buy it using Payment wall! Bad Buy Service

 

To even lower the risks of issues u should add money using iDeal.
I once got an extended payment, because I had no money on my PayPal.
(It does get transferred from my bank account when I pay)

This is a great tutorial! I'm sure this will be very helpful for any future donators! <3 When I first donated I didn't know what euros even were and how I was supposed to pay with euros even though I didn't have any. This is a very helpful thread for new GCers. Is this pinned yet?
